She has 27 acting credits and is perhaps known best for portraying one of the main characters Amy in the 2008 science fiction comedy “Disaster Movie”, written and directed by Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg, and which also starred Nicole Parker and Carmen Electra. The family often moved because of Vincent’s work, and lived in the US, Germany and Japan, with Vanessa transferring schools seven times. Vanessa and her brother moved with their mother to Turkey, however, they returned to live with their father in Charleston, South Carolina USA following Operation Desert Shield. In 2007, Vanessa played Johnny’s Wedding Date in the action adventure fantasy movie “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer”, directed by Tim Story, and which starred Chris Evans, Jessica Alba and Ioan Gruffudd. Nick was raised in Harlan alongside his brother Drew Lachey, a popular American singer and actor, by their father John Lachey and mother Cathalyn (nee Fopma). He studied at Clovernook Elementary School prior to progressing to the School for Creative and Performing Arts, from which he matriculated in 1992. Nick continued his education at Miami University but dropped out to pursue his career.

He and his brother were both members of the band “98 Degrees” and they became famous following the release of their second studio album “98 Degrees and Rising” on 20 October 1998; the band went on an indefinite hiatus not long after that.
