Famous American actress, model and TV show host Vanessa Joy Lachey (nee Minnillo) was born under the zodiac sign Scorpio on 9 November 1980 in Angeles City, the Philippines. She has 27 acting credits and is perhaps known best for portraying one of the main characters Amy in the 2008 science fiction comedy “Disaster Movie”, written and directed by Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg, and which also starred Nicole Parker and Carmen Electra. It follows a group of young adults as they’re experiencing a series of natural disasters, and the film’s believed to be one of the worst of all-time.

Vanessa was born at the Clark Air Base in the Philippines where her American father Vincent Charles Minnillo was stationed; Vincent met Vanessa’s Filipino mother Helen Ramos Bercero while serving in Angeles City, and they also adopted a boy who’s two years Vanessa’s senior. The family often moved because of Vincent’s work, and lived in the US, Germany and Japan, with Vanessa transferring schools seven times. Her parents separated when she was three and divorced when she was six.

Vanessa and her brother moved with their mother to Turkey, however, they returned to live with their father in Charleston, South Carolina USA following Operation Desert Shield. Vanessa studied at the Roman Catholic Bishop England High School and was mostly into dancing during her time there, while she was also on the cheerleading squad.

She matriculated in 1998 and then entered various beauty pageants; Vanessa was crowned Miss Teen USA in 1998, and then focused on her acting career.

The year 2001 saw her make her TV series debut, playing Amanda Wexler in the soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful”, while she could then have been seen appearing in an episode of the comedy “City Guys”, another comedy “That’s Life” and the romantic comedy “Maybe It’s Me”.

In 2007, Vanessa played Johnny’s Wedding Date in the action adventure fantasy movie “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer”, directed by Tim Story, and which starred Chris Evans, Jessica Alba and Ioan Gruffudd. Famous American actor, singer and dancer Nicholas Scott ‘Nick’ Lachey was born in Harlan, Kentucky USA under the zodiac sign Scorpio on 9 November 1973, exactly seven years before Vanessa. He became popular for being the lead singer of the boyband 98 Degrees, while he’s today perhaps known better for his acting career; Nick’s appeared in 36 movies and TV series, and is probably still known best for playing Vietnam Soldier in the 2005 romantic fantasy comedy film “Bewitched”, written and directed by Nora Ephron, and which starred Shirley MacLaine, Will Ferrell and Nicole Kidman. It follows an egocentric actor who’s been cast to star in a series alongside a real witch, and the movie won two of its 15 award nominations.

Nick was raised in Harlan alongside his brother Drew Lachey, a popular American singer and actor, by their father John Lachey and mother Cathalyn (nee Fopma). He studied at Clovernook Elementary School prior to progressing to the School for Creative and Performing Arts, from which he matriculated in 1992. Nick continued his education at Miami University but dropped out to pursue his career.

He and his brother were both members of the band “98 Degrees” and they became famous following the release of their second studio album “98 Degrees and Rising” on 20 October 1998; the band went on an indefinite hiatus not long after that.
