Mat Franco Net Worth $3 Million

Franco started his love for magic at a very young age, seeing a magician on television when he was four years old. He begged his parents to buy him a magic set, and then performed at his kindergarten class. He continued to work on magic and even went to Las Vegas to study performance art at the age of 12. Mat attended Johnston High School and then the University of Rhode Island, from which he graduated with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communication Studies.

In 2003, Franco started performing on stage as part of the show “Stars Of Tomorrow”, which was hosted by the Society of American Magicians. After he graduated, he went on to tour campuses around the Unites States, performing as a one-man act. Eventually he decided to audition for the ninth season of “America’s Got Talent” – this consisted of telling a story with the use of a deck of cards, and impressed all of the judges. During judgment week he used a deck of cards to paint a picture of Howie Mendell. In the quarterfinals, Franco used Heidi Klum as his assistant and performed tricks with fire and disappearing cards. During the semi-finals, he borrowed Mel B’s ‘phone, dropped it in a drink, used a hair dryer on it, making the ‘phone disappear and then having it reappear inside one of the audience’s seat. For his finale, he used a deck of cards as well as audience members as a “human deck” of cards. He was able to accurately perform a large scale prediction trick that involved the two decks.

Franco would eventually win the competition, which lead to him headlining in Las Vegas with a show called “Mat Franco: Magic Reinvented Nightly”. Afterwards, he would return as a guest performer during one of the episodes of the 10th season of “America’s Got Talent”, as well as the finale. Other than that, he’s also had television specials called “Mat Franco’s Got Magic” that aired in NBC during 2015.

For his personal life, it is known that Mat practiced a lot with his grandmother ever since he was a child to perfect his techniques. He’s been well received as a magic act, especially because of his personality and sense of humor that brings smiles to people’s faces. He keeps any relationships private.
