Heidi Klum was born on 1 June 1973, in Bergisch Gladbach, North Rhine Westphalia, (then) West Germany, and is known as a model, TV producer, fashion designer, screenwriter and businesswoman, who came to prominence by featuring on the cover of Vogue magazine’s edition in several European countries, and worldwide by appearing in Sports Illustrated’s renowned swimsuit edition.

Klum was also invited on to the “Gottschalk Late Night Show” with popular host Thomas Gottschalk – and after matriculating from high school moved to New York.

Heidi started her career as a model working for Elle, Vogue and even Sports Ilustrated magazines, in particular modelling many types of swimsuits. Additionally, she is something of an artist and has been displayed in several art magazines.  Heidi was also co-author of “Heidi Klum’s Body of Knowledge” with Alexandra Postman, Elle magazine editor, largely an autobiography released in 2004. As to her interesting personal life, Heidi married Ric Pipino, a stylist in 1997, but they divorced in 2002. She subsequently married musician Seal in 2005, having previously announced a pregnancy while dating Italian Flavio Briatore,  Renault’s Formula One team director. Klum and Seal have two sons and a daughter, but despite renewing their vows every year, divorced in 2012, and Klum resumed her maiden name. She was subsequently in a relationship with her bodyguard Martin Kristen for two years, but has recently been dating Vito Schnabel, an art curator.
