The girls are only known for being the adoptive children of Madonna, a famous American actress and singer-songwriter; she adopted them in February 2017, and moved them to Lisbon, Portugal a couple of months later.

Stelle and Estere are being raised in Lisbon alongside Madonna’s adoptive son David Banda, who was born in Malawi in 2006; Madonna also has two biological children: Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon was born on 14 October 1996, her father being the actor and personal trainer Carlos Leon, and Rocco Ritchie was born on 11 August 2000, whose father is the famous American film director Guy Ritchie.

The girls Stelle and Estere are currently attending a local elementary school in Lisbon, and have apparently been motivated by their adoptive mother to try and pursue a career in either acting or singing. The two girls have their own Instagram account, which is today followed by nearly 10,000 people, on to which they’ve uploaded close to 2,000 pictures; Madonna is said to be monitoring their account, and is helping them upload their content.

Both girls are crazy about clothes, and often go shopping together; they are both dreaming of becoming models.

They like to listen to their mother performing, and have travelled a bit with her, having already been to a couple of European countries, and to Los Angeles, California in the USA.

They are into watching movies in the evening, and their favorite actor and actress are Jim Carrey and Emma Watson, while some of their favorite films include “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective – When Nature Calls”, “Liar Liar” and the franchise “Harry Potter”.

She was raised in Detroit, Michigan alongside her three younger and two older siblings, by their father Silvio Anthony ‘Tony’ Ciccone who worked at General Motors and Chrysler as an engineer designer, and their mother Madonna Louise (nee Fortin) who was a housewife, but who died on 1 December 1963 from breast cancer. Silvio later married Joan Gustafson, who was the family’s housekeeper, and she gave birth to their children Mario and Jennifer.

Madonna studied at St. Frederick’s and later St. Andrew’s Catholic Elementary School, before moving on to West Middle School. Her father paid for her piano lessons, however, Madonna wanted to practice ballet instead; she later attended Rochester Adams High School, and was top of her class.

Upon matriculating in 1975, she enrolled at the University of Michigan, but dropped out in 1978, moved to New York City, and started pursuing her career while having only $35 in her pocket. During her first two years in New York City, Madonna worked at Dunkin’ Donuts to financially support herself, and practiced dance at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.

She began dating the musician Dan Gilroy in 1979, and was then hired to dance and sing in Paris, France, as Patrick Pierre Hernandez’s backup; after three months in France, she moved in with Dan in Queens, New York City, and they formed her first band – The Breakfast Club.

She then started dating the American musician John ‘Jellybean’ Benitez, who helped produce her debut album “Madonna”, which came out in July 1983, and climbed to #8 on the Billboard 200 Chart.

She became popular around the world after the release of her second album “Like a Virgin” in November 1984, which topped the charts in various countries, including Germany, New Zealand and Italy. Her new single “Material Girl” peaked at #2 on the Hot 100 Chart.

On 16 August 1985, Madonna married the famous American actor and film director Sean Penn,  and launched her acting career in the same year, starring in the comedy “Desperately Seeking Susan”. In June 1986, her new album “True Blue” was released, dedicated to her husband. It topped the charts in 28 countries, with five singles topping the charts in the USA or the UK.

In January 1989, she filed for divorce from Sean.

In 1992, she starred in the evergreen sports comedy movie “A League of Their Own”, released her firth studio album “Erotica”, and published her first book – “Sex”.

She met Guy Ritchie in the summer of 1998, and the two married on 22 December 2000, but divorced in 2008.

Her 10th album – “Confessions on a Dance Floor” – came out in November 2005, and won her a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album, topping the charts in 40 countries. Her 12th album “MDNA” was released in March 2012, while her 13th album “Rebel Heart” followed in March 2015. Most recently, she released her 14th album, “Madame X”, in 2019.
