American celebrity family member Loreal Palmer was born under the zodiac sign Capricorn on 3 January 1989, in Harvey, Illinois USA. She’s perhaps only known for being the elder sister of Lauren Keyana ‘Keke’ Palmer, a famous actress, singer and TV show host.

Loreal was raised alongside her sister Keke and their two other siblings Lawrence and Lawrencia in Harvey, by their mother Sharon Palmer who was a high school teacher, and father Lawrence ‘Larry’ Palmer who was employed at a polyurethane company; Sharon and Lawrence were both actors prior to deciding to quit the film industry for unknown reasons, and they also met at an acting school.
Loreal attended a local high school in Harvey and was into multiple activities during her four years there as she was a member of the school’s drama club, took dance lessons and learned to play several instruments. Not many details have been disclosed about Loreal’s career but it’s known that she wrote the songs “Not in Your Video” and “Ally My Girl”, as well as performed the former in the 2006 family movie “Akeelah and the Bee”, which starred her sister Keke, Laurence Fishburne and Angela Bassett, and was written and directed by Doug Atchison. It follows a girl from Los Angeles, California as she’s trying to compete in National Spelling Bee, and the film won 11 of its 26 award nominations.
Loreal went on to write the song “Bottoms Up” in the 2008 musical movie “Make It Happen”, which starred Riley Smith, Tessa Thompson and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and was directed by Darren Grant. It follows the life of a young dancer, and the film won a 2009 Golden Rooster Award for Best International Film.

‘Keke’ Palmer was born under the zodiac sign Virgo on 26 August 1993 in Harvey. She’s appeared in over 110 movies and TV series, but is perhaps known best for starring as Emerald Haywood in the 2022 mystery horror science fiction movie “Nope”, which also starred Brandon Perea and Daniel Kaluuya, and was written and directed by Jordan Peele. It follows residents of a lonely gulch in California who’ve made a chilling discovery; the film won 40 of its 196 award nominations.
Keke was mostly into singing while growing up and her first live performance was at a local church, as she was raised in a deeply religious Catholic family. She was 11 when she made her debut film appearance, playing Gina’s Niece in the 2004 comedy “Barbershop 2: Back in Business”, and the same year saw her made her debut TV series appearance, portraying Arlene in the episode “The Letter” of the crime mystery “Cold Case”.
