Cavalier has appeared in 90 episodes thus far, beginning in 2011. The popular “Gator Queen” has earned most of her money from taking part in the reality series. Cavalier’s TV career began in 2011.

Have you ever wondered how rich Liz Cavalier is, as of late 2017? According to authoritative sources, Cavalier’s estimated net worth is $450,000, with the main source of her wealth being the reality TV series “Swamp People”, apart from her involvement in actually hunting the reptiles since her teenage years.

Elisabeth Cavalier  grew up in the northern part of Morgan City. From an early age, Liz started to hunt ‘gators with her father CJ Dupre, riding with him in their air-boat and learning a lot from him. In 2011, the History Channel representatives came to Pierre Part looking for a female alligator hunter, and soon the channel contacted Liz, and the producers approved of her after watching the filmed interview.

She began appearing in “Swamp People” in 2011 and is still shooting with the series; it is a reality TV series about the alligator hunters centered in Southern Louisiana. By law the hunters are allowed only a 30-day window to fulfill their catch quota, and so the whole program brings us back to the 17th century and the traditions of the South. These hunters, including Cavalier, are making most of their annual income thanks to their skills of hunting ‘gators. Liz’s childhood friend Troy Landry was her partner for the most of the Season 2 of the series, while in Season 3 she is seen driving her boat with her friend Kristi. Cavalier stated that she enjoyed hunting with Troy, although the pair had some differences, about which she didn’t elaborate, which encouraged the viewers to watch and discover exactly what was going on, perhaps hoping for a romantic association.

Liz hunts within 2,900 acres near Houma in every season of the show. In the latest season which began early in 2017, Cavalier teamed up with her daughter Jennifer, and she hopes Jennifer will take more responsibility in future seasons,  as Liz has also acquired another boat, captained at the moment by her husband, Justin.

Regarding her personal life, Liz Cavalier has her alligator hunting business, and the whole family is included. She is married to Justin Choate and as well as daughter Jennifer, has two stepsons Destin and Daimon. She’s hoping they will all help carry on the tradition into the next generation. Liz is very thankful to her husband for helping her during the last few years, while her brother Don Rich composed and produced the song called “Gator Queen”, supporting his sister. Perhaps surprisingly, Cavalier has a pet named Charlie-Pie, which is a 7-feet(2.1 m) long alligator. Liz and Justin reside near Pecan Island.
