Born as Lilly Saini Singh on 26 September 1986, in the city of Scarborough, Toronto, Canada, Lilly is a well known comedian, actress, motivational speaker and a YouTube personality. Her popularity and success is attributed mainly to her channel on YouTube which she calls ‘Superwoman’, which has viewers and subscribers numbering millions.

Pearson Collegiate Institute.

Her first experience with the YouTube platform was as a means of expressing and dealing with her depression after having made several visits to the Punjab. Lily developed her own YouTube channel in 2010 with the symbolic name ‘Superwoman,’ dubbed from her early childhood ring in the shape of an ‘S’. Her show portrayed several aspects depicted from her everyday life, and she is further known to document some of the famous stars she meets, such as famous musicians Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez, and popular film star Dwayne Johnson.

There’s more to Lilly Singh than just her popular YouTube personality. She is also known to engage herself in stand-up comedy and rap. Better yet, she is a business lady selling clothes online linked to her YouTube persona. She also played a major role in the ‘Hipshaker’ song together with Jassi Sidhu, and a rapper featuring in the song ‘Mauj Ki Malharei’.
