Ashley co-produced the 2020 comedy movie “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan”, directed by Jason Woliner, and which starred Sacha Baron Cohen, Maria Bakalova and Tom Hanks. It follows Borat as he’s once again visiting the US, and the movie won 37 of the 103 awards for which it was nominated, including two Oscar nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role (Maria Bakalova).
Love life and marriage with Larry David
Ashley met Larry David at Sacha Baron Cohen’s birthday party in 2017; Larry made a good impression on Ashley, as she found him very funny, but he then left before dessert, not wanting to ruin the good impression. However, they went on their first date not long after that, and eventually exchanged vows on 7 October 2020, in a small ceremony attended by only the closest of their friends and family members. Ashley and Larry don’t have children together, but they have a pet dog Bernie, and a pet cat Elwood.

Ashley’s passionate about travelling, and has been to many US states for both work and pleasure, while she’s also vacationed in a couple of European and Asian countries, with her dream travel destination being Venice, Italy.

Larry was raised in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, alongside his older brother Ken, by their father Mortimer Julis ‘Morty’ David who was a men’s clothing manufacturer, and their mother Rose.
