Tennessee native Ralphie May was a fellow comedian and actor who gained popularity for his extensive touring and comedy specials on several platforms, including Netflix. He launched his career at the age of 17 after winning a comedy competition held by Sam Kinison, who also encouraged him to relocate to Houston to improve his skills as a comedian.

Ralphie matriculated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream, where he scooped a spot in the first season of the show “Last Comic Standing”, finishing in second place.

Soon after, he began doing various comedy shows, and appearing in TV shows such as “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, and “The Wayne Brady Showy”.
