Kim Jong-un Net Worth $5 Billion

When it comes to Kim’s early life, we don’t have much information regarding that topic as the result of the isolation of North Korea and its leaders. Many claim that he attended school in Bern, Switzerland, however, this information may be confusing since his older brother studied there during the same time, and this might actually be information about him. Reportedly, as a student of English-language International School in Gümligen, he used the name Pak-chol or Chol-pak, and was described as a good and shy student who got along with his classmates, and was accompanied by another person, who is thought to have been his bodyguard. Later information states that he studied at the Liebefeld Steinhölzli school in Köniz near Bern, under the name Pak-un or Un-pak. The second statement is apparently more believable, and he supposedly enrolled into Kim Il-sung University, having finished with his high school education.

His older brother was supposed to succeed his father, but Kim was appointed for unknown reasons. He has ‘earned’ several military titles, and in late 2010 he was named ‘’daejang’’, which is somewhat similar too four-star general in the US, despite not having any prior military experience, and shortly afterwards he became the vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission. and began serving on the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party.

His father died in late 2011, and Jong-un was celebrated as ‘’the great successor to the revolutionary cause of Juche’’, and not long after he was officially declared Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army, and hailed all over the media. In the following year, his military title was changed by the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea to ‘’wonsu’’, somewhat equivalent to marshal. He continued working on supposed reforms in North Korea, and in 2013 he presented the ‘’Socialist Corporate Responsible Management System’’. Under his leadership, North Korea continued working on nuclear weapons at a rapid pace, and has subsequently faced harsh criticism for his development of these weapons, as a threat particularly to Japan and USA. Kim Jong-un’s purges also gained pace, as he is said to have executed numerous people who disobeyed him, violating the human rights regulated by UN General Assembly.

When it comes to his private life, Kim Jong-un is married to Ri Sol-ju, whom he presented during one event; the couple has two daughters and a son Jong-un is said to be a smoker, and is said by numerous sources to enjoy partying and drinking. Some people have suggested that he has diabetes and hypertension.
