How rich is Kellie Rasberry? Sources report that her net worth is at $5 million as of late 2016. Most of this can be attributed to her radio work, earning high salaries for being one of the more popular and talented radio personalities around. She’s landed a few different shows in radio, and still associates with a lot of previous projects she’s worked in.

Kellie Rasberry Net Worth $5 Million

Before Kellie was interested in radio, she was first very passionate about pursuing an acting career. She attended the Florence Christian School and graduated as salutatorian before heading to a scholarship at Liberty University. After her scholarship ran out, she went to Francis Marion University, only to drop out after one semester. During this time, she started working for her parents’ western clothing business, while taking acting lessons at Valdotti’s School of Modelling and attending conventions to display her skill. Her efforts were in vain, but she received a comment from a radio station owner that she should try her hand working in radio.

She looked for a job and landed a part-time assistant job with WJMX. After a few months, she started working as the newsgirl when the previous newsgirl quit. She then left that job after a prospect of acting came up in Atlanta. She moved there in 1990, only to work one and a half years waiting for acting jobs which failed to materialise. She went back home, back to WJMX, and also went back to Francis Marion University to finish an English degree. She started working as the morning show host on Sunny 102.9 and did weekend weather for CBS affiliate, WBTW. Her net worth was building slowly.

In 1994, she moved to Dallas to work on 106.1 KISS FM and then eventually started working with Kidd Kraddick on his morning show. Her net worth would dramatically increase at this point, as she continued to work in the show after Kidd’s sudden death, and also landed a small part in the television show “Holiday in Your Heart” where she acted alongside LeAnn Rimes. Following her work here, she went on to do voiceover work and co-hosted the webcast of the “Blockbuster Entertainment Awards”. She also won a spot on Women of Radio week for “Live with Regis” and did a show with Regis Philbin. Her net worth was growing.

While Kellie remains active and even talks about her personal life on the radio, she tries to moderate it so that things won’t become intrusive to her privacy. She has a daughter from a previous engagement. She’s also drawn some negative attention after making comments on a radio show about her views on same-sex marriage, her words drawing the ire of a lot of members of the LGBT community which made her release a statement on Facebook to explain and apologize for the issue. Aside from this, she continues working as a radio personality.
