Justin Peter Rose was born on the 30th July 1980, in Johannesburg, South Africa, but has English citizenship. He is a professional golfer who preferably competes on the European Tour, but he has also had success on the PGA Tour, and Japanese Tour as well. Significantly, he participated at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games held in Rio, where he won the gold medal. His career has been active since 1999.

Justin is the son of English parents, who at the time of his birth resided in South Africa. When he was five years old they moved back to England, and upon arrival he joined the Tylney Park Golf Club, which was close to his home in Fleet, Hampshire. Little by little, Justin improved and when he was 11 years old, he broke 70, and three years later he was on a plus three handicap.
At the age of 17 Justin played in his first Walker Cup (for amateurs), and a year later he won the silver medal for the lowest amateur score, after managing to successfully put the ball in the hole from 50 yards at the 1998 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale. After the championship ended, he became a professional, joining the European Tour.
In his first few years he struggled, and didn`t record a victory until 2002, when he was the best at the Dunhill Championship. Since then he has won eight more trophies on the European Tour, including Victor Chandler British Masters also in 2002, Volvo Masters in 2007, and the US Open was his first major victory in 2013. Since then he has won the UBS Hong Kong Open in 2015, and he was also the best at the Olympic Games in 2016, among other victories, all of which increased his net worth by a large margin.
Regarding his success on the PGA Tour, he joined in 2003 and since then has won seven titles; his debut victory came in 2010 at the Memorial Tournament. Since then he won six more trophies; in 2011 he won the BMW Championship, and a year later he won the WGC-Cadillac Championship. In 2013 he was the champion at the US Open, and in 2014 of the Quicken Loans National. His most recent victory was at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, when he defeated Cameron Triangle by one stroke, which also increased his net worth.
Apart from competing as an individual, Justin has been a part of the England national team. He has won two Ryder Cups, firstly in 2012 and then in 2014, and won the Seve Trophy in 2003 and 2007, adding a substantial amount to his net worth.
