Jordan attended Mission Viejo and after matriculating, went to the University of Texas, El Paso (UTEP). He played football during college, and performed well during his freshmen and sophomore yearS. In 2005, he helped UTEP get to the GMAC Bowl, but during his senior year, the team did not qualify for post-season play.

Palmer then joined the 2007 NFL Draft, and was selected by the Washington Redskins during the sixth round. He played for the Redskins during the pre-season, but was waived before the season started. He then signed with the Arena Football League team the Arizona Rattlers, and stayed with them for a few months. In 2008, he signed a two-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, playing as a backup quarterback for his brother Carson there, so becoming the first brothers in history to hold the quarterback position on the same team at the same time. His net worth would increase with the Bengals, and he was eventually released in 2011. He then briefly played with the United Football League team, the Sacramento Mountain Lions, and afterwards joined the Jacksonville Jaguars, but only spent time with them on the pre-season. He signed with them briefly later in the year due to the Jaguars’ quarterback being placed on the injured reserve, but he was then later released once more.

In 2013, Jordan signed with the Chicago Bears after an injury to their third string quarterback. His net worth would rise once more, but he was released during the offseason, although re-signed with them after an injury to Jay Cutler, and Jordan would become the back up to Josh McCown. In 2014, he signed a one year deal with the Bears, and after the end of his run with them, signed with the Buffalo Bills but was released after a few days. His last team in the NFL was the Tennessee Titans, where he played just one month, but earned a good amount of money.

After retiring, Palmer then worked as a quarterbacks coach at an NFL Draft training center called EXOS, which is located in Carlsbad, California.

For his personal life, Jordan has been married to Dottie since 2010. Jordan’s brother is 2003 NFL Draft first overall pick Carson Palmer, who played with the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals.
