Jesse Lee Soffer was born on 23 April 1984, in Ossining, New York State USA, an is an actor, best known for his work in the soap opera “As the World Turns” for which he received three Emmy nominations. He’s also been a part of the “Chicago Fire” spin-off entitled “Chicago P.D.”, and has been active in the industry since 1990, with all of his efforts helping put his net worth to where it is today.

Jesse started his acting career at a young age, beginning with an appearance for a Kix cereal commercial. In 1993 he made his film debut in the comedy “Matinee”, in which he appeared alongside John Goodman and Cathy Moriarty. The following year, he co-starred in the film “Safe Passage”, playing the role of Percival. He then got more opportunities which started to increase his net worth. He was then cast in “The Brady Bunch Movie” and reprised his role in its sequel “A Very Brady Sequel” which was released a year later. Soffer soon returned to his acting career, and took over the role of Will Munson in the soap opera “As the World Turns”. He stayed in the show for four years, and was nominated three times for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series, and for a Soap Opera Digest Award. He then returned to film in the drama “Gracie” which is based on a true story, then in 2010 he reprised his role in “As the World Turns”, before co-starring in the film “In Time”. He also made consistent guest appearances in various popular television series, including “CSI: Miami” and “The Mentalist”, and in 2012 he appeared in the short-lived series “The Mob Doctor”, before starring in the Lifetime original movie entitled “Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret”.

In 2013, Jesse joined the cast of the series “Chicago PD” playing the role of Detective Jay Halstead, continuing to be a part of the show, and also plays his character in “Chicago Fire”, and “Chicago Med”, in all of which he does his own stunts.

For his personal life, it is known that Soffer had a relationship with actress Sophia Bush, but it eventually ended in 2015. Jesse continues to be officially single.
