After that, Alex featured in a couple of high-profile films, such as the crime-drama “Patriots Day” in 2016, with Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan and J. K. Simmons, while in 2017 he starred next to Asa Butterfield and Nick Offerman in the comedy-drama “The House of Tomorrow”. Most recently, Alex starred in the biopic about Jeffrey Dahmer, entitled “My Friend Dahmer”, also in 2017, while in 2018 he portrayed Peter Graham in the film “Hereditary”.
