Early life, family, and education

Judah was raised in Cherry Hill, a quiet, family-friendly suburbia in southern New Jersey, as an only child by his parents Mark and Hara who are acting teachers, so it isn’t surprising that Judah started acting at the age of four. He decided to become an actor after watching “Hugo” starring Asa Butterfield, a young English actor who is his idol.

Judah’s father, Mark was born on 3 December 1972; he graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Drama, and there he met his future wife Hara; nowadays they all live in Los Angeles, California, and have their private school named “Kids Interactive Theatre Ensemble” where Hara and Mark teach acting, and Judah is going on to auditions.

Some of them were successful, but there were less successful ones such as his audition for the role of ‘Spider-Man’ in the movie “Captain America: Civil War” in 2016; although he was selected for testing, and it seemed that he was doing well, the role went to Tom Holland.

Judah attended a local high school, and upon matriculating in 2019, he didn’t enroll at college, but pursued his acting career.

Career

Judah made his acting debut in the 2014 TV movie “Deliverance Creek”, in which he was cast to play Caleb Barlow acting alongside Wes Ramsey, Christopher Backus and Lauren Ambrose, followed by his appearance in the series “CSI: Cyber” and his role as Chris in the movie “Demolition” a comedy drama starring by Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Copper, and Naomi Watts, which had two award nominations and won one.

In the following year, he portrayed Young Gil in the series “Game of Silence”, before he was cast to play Cole in “The Babysitter”, followed by his role as Tommy ‘Eats’ Eaton in the 2018 movie “Summer of 84”, starring alongside Caleb Emery and Graham Verchere in this mystery horror drama, which had five award nominations and won one. This role brought Judah recognition in the film industry, and he’s stated that it was one of his favorites for now, because he was acting the opposite of the person that he is in real life.

Also in 2018, Judah was cast to play Teddy in “The Christmas Chronicles”, starring alongside Kurt Russell and Darby Camp in this family, adventure comedy movie about two siblings who have a plan to catch Santa Claus on camera, but their plan turns out into an unexpected journey; the movie had two award nominations.

In the 2019 movie “I See You”, he portrayed Connor Harper, followed by roles in the following year as Cole in the sequel “The Babysitter: Killer Queen”, and as Teddy in the sequel “The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two”, which are his most recent roles.
