Who is Montana Jordan?

Growing up in a small Texas town, Montana Jordan was living his average life as a 12-year-old boy, when friends and family suggested he try his luck and audition for a movie. He saw this as a challenge, and when he got the final word that he had been cast, Montana couldn’t believe it. He is perhaps known best for his role as George Cooper in the comedy series “Young Sheldon”, which earned him a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV Series – Supporting Teen.

Early life, family, and education

Born under the zodiac sign of Pisces on 8 March 2003, in Longview, Texas USA, Montana holds American nationality. He was raised by his parents, Kelli and Tony, in Ore City, Texas, alongside his two elder sisters, Jaden and Katelli.

Montana was into sports from an early age, and he played football for the Ore City Rebels, his school’s team. He is an avid fan of the outdoors and loves to hunt.

When it comes to his educational background, he attended a local high school, and upon matriculating in 2021 he enrolled into an unnamed college and is currently studying.

Acting career

Montana made his acting debut portraying Jaden Ferguson in the comedy-drama “The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter”, also starring Josh Brolin and Danny McBride. The movie was filmed in 2015,but didn’t premier until three years later. Montana was chosen from over 10,000 boys.

The plot revolved around the great hunter Buck who sets out on an epic adventure to reconnect with his son Jaden. Buck is accompanied by his faithful friend, Don. The movie had no nominations, but was well-accepted by the audience who rated it as ‘funny with beautiful scenes’.

Montana made his first television appearance playing his most notable role to date, as Georgie Cooper in “Young Sheldon”. From 2017 through 2023, Montana was seen in 121 episodes, starring opposite Iain Armitage, Lance Barber, and Zoe Perry. The show follows the story of a child genius, Sheldon Cooper, based on the same adult character from the series “The Big Bang Theory”. Montana plays Sheldon’s big brother, totally different than Sheldon, who is socially impaired. The series had 24 award nominations and won three.

In his interview for Glitter Magazine, Montana said that while he was reading the role of Georgie, he thought that he was reading an autobiography; according to him, everything lined up with his life in Ore City. He also played football, and would get into trouble for having a messy room, just like the character he plays.

For him, the coolest thing about this role is that he can play an older sibling, since as the youngest in the family, he was constantly teased by his sisters.

Concurrently, Montana made an appearance in an episode of “The Big Bang Theory” in 2018, and since the series “Young Sheldon” is a prequel to this show, Montana was happy to meet the stars of the series, Jim Parsons who plays adult Sheldon, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, and others. Fun fact: “The Big Bang Theory” had 254 award nominations and won 79, including 10 Primetime Emmys.

For now, Montana has no upcoming projects, however, his fans can enjoy watching him in the sixth season of “Young Sheldon”, which premiered on 9 March 2023.

Like many young actors, Montana has been the subject of various speculations about his romantic life, however, it seems that he decided to stop the rumors, and in November 2022, he posted a photo featuring himself and a cute blonde girl, with the caption saying ‘My Love’.

His co-star, Raegan Revord, who plays his and Sheldon’s sister Missy, commented saying ‘Instagram official’, while numerous girls commented saying that they’re jealous and that they’ve lost him.

Montana’s girlfriend is Jenna Weeks, a Texas native, and the two are often seen in Montana’s TikTok videos. As of March 2023, Montana is in a relationship.

Montana has ridden dirt bikes since he was five years old.

For his role as Jordan in “The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter”, he learned to play guitar.

Montana works out at the gym four to five times per week, and often shares his progress on his Instagram profile.

Montana is not a fan of watching television; he’s admitted that he hasn’t seen any episode of “The Big Bang Theory”, but loved to watch “The Little Rascals” when he was a kid.

He once said that he wished there was a real-life Georgie character, and that the two of them would be ‘tearing up the town together’.

Montana is an animal lover, with horses and dogs being his favorite; he had a pet dog, Husky, who sadly died.

He enjoys spending time with his family, and his favorite person is his little niece, whose photos he often shares on his social media accounts.
