Why they broke up? What happened?

People were surprised by the news that Erica sued Tiger. It isn’t clear when the two break up, however, she filed a suit against him in October 2022. Allegedly, Tiger kicked her out of the house they shared. According to her, the golf superstar’s agents tricked her into thinking she was going on a short trip, made her pack a bag and then never let her into the villa again.

She claims that this was a violation of their ‘oral tenancy agreement’, however, Tiger’s attorneys argued that Erica was never a tenant. Erica claimed in the lawsuit that there was a verbal lease agreement in place for the six years she worked and lived with Woods, with five years remaining on the contract. She claims that Tiger owes her $30 million, due to an oral agreement breach.

At the beginning of their relationship, Erica was harshly branded a ‘gold digger’, and after the news about her suit, rumors about her wanting his money again floated over the internet.

Why did she sue him?

In March 2023, it was revealed that she filed another suit in December 2022,  in an attempt to overturn a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that she claims Woods signed with her at the start of their relationship. Erica contends that NDAs should be null and void if there is evidence of assault or harassment. Many people close to Tiger said that this legal battle is a nightmare for Tiger.

Tiger’s attorneys stated that Erica’s suits are her response to their break up. They confirmed that the suit doesn’t involves allegations of sexual abuse. The court case is still ongoing.
