Early life and education
Hamish was born under the zodiac sign of Cancer on 7 July 1976, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts USA; he holds American nationality, although he comes from a family of Scottish, German, Swedish, Flemish, English and Irish descent.
His father is James Lincoln Cormeny, however nothing is known about his, especially as after his parents divorced, Hamish was raised by his mother, Kristin Linklater, who was a vocal teacher, Professor of Theatre, and Chair of the Acting Division at Columbia University in New York City.
