Who is Gussy Lau?
Mexican music composer, singer-songwriter and social media star Luis Abraham Buelna Vea – aka Gussy Lau – was born in Mocorito, Sinaloa, Mexico, on 6 June 1988, making Gemini his zodiac sign. Gussy’s steadily becoming popular on YouTube – he launched his self-titled channel on 23 August 2012, and it’s today subscribed to by 417 people. All of Gussy’s six videos combined have been watched more than 10,000 times, most being related to music.
He’s also popular for his relationship with Mexican-American singer Angela Aguilar Alvarez Alcala, who’s 15 years his junior (born on 8 October 2003).
Education and early life
Gussy was raised in Mocorito by his father whose name hasn’t been revealed, but who’s a Mexican businessman, and his mother who’s a housewife; it’s believed that Gussy’s father has connections in the music industry, which was how Gussy launched his career. He hasn’t spoken about having siblings, and is thus believed to be an only child.
Gussy studied at a local high school in Mocorito, and was mostly into singing during his four years there, although he also played soccer, acted with the school’s drama club, and took dance lessons. Gussy matriculated in 2006 and then enrolled at a university in Mexico, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in 2010.

Gussy’s quite popular in Mexico, especially for writing and composing the songs “Ni Jue Ni Parte”, “Comere Callado” and “Con Toda la Fuerza”; he’s mostly focused on writing songs for other performers, and has won two Latin Grammies.
Some of his most recent songs have been the 2021 “Ahi Donde me Ven”, the 2022 “Se Difrazo” and the 2022 “Que Agonia”, all of which he composed for his girlfriend Angela Aguilar.

Gussy’s passionate about travelling, and his career has taken him to various South American countries and US states, while he’s also been to several Australian cities and European countries; Gussy’s favorite city’s still Mexico City.
He works out at the gym every day, and enjoys being physically active; Gussy occasionally plays soccer with his friends, and is also believed to be an avid table tennis player.
He plays both the guitar and the piano.
