Heather Rae Young was born in Anaheim, California USA. on 16 September 1987 – her zodiac sign is Virgo, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress and reality TV star, while she’s probably known best for her lead role in the reality show “Selling Sunset”; it’s been airing since 2019, today also stars Mary Fitzgerald and Chrishell Stause, and follows the people working for The Oppenheim Group as they’re selling luxurious apartments and houses in the Angeles area of Southern California. Early life and education
Heather was raised in Running Springs, San Bernardino, California by her parents, about whom not a lot is known because she respects their privacy; it’s said that her father was a businessman, and her mother a socialite. Because Heather hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, most people believe her to be an only child.
She attended a private high school and was interested in numerous activities during her four years there, while she was mostly into playing various sports with her peers, believing that this would help shape her figure, ready for when it was time to launch her modelling career.
Heather matriculated in 2005, and then worked several jobs for the following couple of years, including at a local pizza place as a server, the Snow Valley Resort as a ticket checker, and a video store as a clerk.
Modelling career
It was in June 2008 that Heather attended a casting call for the magazine “Playboy”; she was initially featured in the pictorial Lounge Acts, uploaded onto their website Playboy Cyberclub, then in February 2010 was named Playmate of the Month.
She’s since been working as a lingerie and swimsuit model, and some of the famous companies she’s worked for include Baileys, Captain Morgan and Jose Cuervo (all alcoholic drinks).
Some of the famous brands for which she’s posed and walked the catwalk include Superstar Swimwear, Hustler Lingerie and Affliction Clothing Line.
In 2010, Heather posed for the Import Tuner calendar, as well as for the 2011 calendar of Fast Dates.
Acting career
Heather made her debut TV series appearance in the 2010 episode “The Baby” of the romantic comedy “’Til Death”, created by Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa, and which starred Brad Garrett, Joely Fisher and Kat Foster. It follows a newly married couple who’ve moved next door to an elderly married couple; the series aired from 2006 to 2010, and was nominated for a 2007 People’s Choice Award for Favorite New TV Comedy.
She made her debut film appearance with her portrayal of Secretary in the 2011 action horror comedy “Chillerama”, written and directed by Adam Green, and which starred Adam Rifkin, Sarah Mutch and Ray Wise; the movie follows American manager Cecil Kaufman as he’s showing four movies at a drive-in theatre, and won a Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award for Best Independent Film.
A couple of Heather’s following roles were in 2012 in the comedy movie “Christmas in Compton” and the action crime film “Mafia”, and the 2013 short science fiction movie “Dead Reckoning”. 2013 also saw her play Exotic Dancer in the hit comedy movie “The Internship”, directed by Shawn Levy, and which starred Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson and Rose Byrne. It follows two salesmen who’ve won an internship at Google – the movie was nominated for two awards.
Heather has only three other acting credits: she played Brandi in the 2014 horror comedy film “Love in the Time of Monsters”, the 2016 episode “Gillian Jacobs Wears a Gray Checkered Suit and a Red Bow Tie” of the comedy talk-show “Comedy Bang! Bang!”, and the 2021 horror thriller movie “Malibu Horror Story”.
Other credits
Heather could’ve been seen featured in a 2015 episode of the documentary series “Playmate Playback”.
She’s made a guest appearance in a number of talk-shows, such as “What’s Up Orange County” (2019), “Made in Hollywood” and “Today” both in 2020.

Love life and husband
Heather’s quite open when it comes to talking about her love life – she and American real estate investor and TV personality Tarek El Moussa revealed in August 2019 that they were in a relationship; they married on 23 October 2021.
Tarek’s probably known best for having been a co-host of the reality show “Flip or Flop”, and since 2020, he’s been hosting the new reality show “Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa”. He had been married once prior to meeting Heather; Tarek exchanged vows with American real estate investor Christina Meursinge Hall in May 2009 – she gave birth to their first child Taylor Reese El Moussa on 22 September 2010., and on 19 August 2015, Tarek and Christina welcomed their second child Brayden El Moussa. However, they divorced in 2018.
Tarek’s had some health problems, as he was diagnosed with cancer in 2013, while he’s been in remission since 2014.
Heather hasn’t spoken of any other men whom she’s perhaps been with, and as of July 2022, she’s married to Tarek El Moussa, and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests
Heather’s an Instagram star, and seems to be enjoying the attention which she’s receiving from her close to three million followers; she’s uploaded more than 1,600 pictures onto the network, the majority of which feature her spending time with her boyfriend and their friends.
She’s physically highly active and has multiple training sessions at the gym every week, thus her slim figure; Heather’s also following a strict diet, and some of her friends believe that she’s vegan.
