Who is David Zepeda?
David Anastasio Zepeda Quintero was born in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, on 19 September 1973 – his zodiac sign is Virgo, and he now holds American nationality. He’s an actor, singer and a model, with over 30 acting credits to his name, while he’s perhaps still known best for his performance in the 2003 horror movie “Jeepers Creepers 2”, written and directed by Victor Salva, and which starred Jonathan Breck, Ray Wise and Nicki Aycox. It follows the winged creature Creeper, who has attacked the bus of a basketball team; the movie was nominated for six awards.
This was also David’s debut film appearance, but having appeared in many TV series prior to this role.
Early life and education
David was raised alongside his three brothers in Nogales, by their father Agustin Zepeda Espinosa, and their mother Olga Zepeda; not a lot is known about his family, as David respects their privacy.
He became interested in acting and modelling while attending a local high school, and was a member of his school’s drama club, appearing in various plays performed at the school. He launched his modelling career during his four years there, and appeared in various commercials. Upon matriculating in 1991, David focused on his career as a model, and didn’t enroll at college; in 2000, he entered the Manhunt International beauty pageant held in Singapore, finishing second.

David has appeared in 28 TV series, but in only four movies. He made his debut TV series appearance with his portrayal of Marcos in the 1999 romantic drama “Marea Brava”, and the following years saw him appear in an episode or two of various series, such as the drama “Like in the Movies”, the family drama “American Family”, and the action fantasy drama “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. He gained recognition in 2006, when cast to star as Diego in the romantic drama “Amores Cruzados”, which also starred Michel Gurfi and Julian Arango, and numbers 120 episodes. In the following year, David starred as Maximiliano ‘Max’ Irazabal in the popular romantic crime drama “Acorralada”, which also starred Alejandra Lazcano and Maritza Rodriguez; it follows a man who has fallen in love with a woman, and all their ups and downs.

The following years saw David star in a couple of series, including the romantic drama “Sortilegio” and the family fantasy drama “Soy Tu Duena”. In in 2011, he played Ivan Villagomez, in the romantic drama “The Power of Destiny”, and the following year began portraying Damian Arango, appearing in 151 episodes of the romantic drama “Abyss of Passion”, which starred Blanca Guerra, Sabine Moussier and Eugenia Cauduro, and follows Elisa, Gael and Damian, who were once childhood friends, and have now reunited as adults.
David then starred in over 100 episodes of various series, such as the drama “Mentir Para Vivir”, and the romantic dramas “Until the End of Time” and “The Three Sides of Ana”.
In 2018 and 2019, he portrayed the main character Ricardo Bustamante, in all the 183 episodes of the drama “Por Amar Sin Ley”, which also starred Jose Marie Torre and Julian Gil, and follows a group of lawyers working at one of the best law companies in Mexico; the series was nominated for 12 awards.
David’s three most recent roles in TV series have been in 76 episodes of the romantic drama “La Dona” in 2020, 93 episodes of the drama “Vencer el Desamor” in 2021, and four episodes of the drama “Mi Fortuna es Amarte”, also in 2021.
Roles in movies
In 2004, David was cast to play Julio in the romantic drama “Desnudos”, directed by Enrique Gomez Vadillo, and which starred Karyme Lozano, Juan Vidal and Rafael Amaya.
It follows an artist who’s dating a girl who’s cheating on him, while he’s now fallen in love with a young and innocent girl.
David’s only other two roles in movies have been in the 2008 short crime drama “Two of a Kind”, and the 2020 short musical family drama “Campaña Navidad Televisa: Protegernos para Celebrar”.

David’s highly secretive when it comes to his love life, which is why some of his fans believe that he’s gay, however, there are still three women whom he has been with, that the public knows about. Sometime in the 2000s, David was in a relationship with Aracely Arambula, a famous Mexican actress, singer and model, who has appeared in over 20 movies and TV series; the two were together for around a year before breaking up for unknown reasons.
He was then in a relationship with Altair Jarabo, a Mexican actress and social media star, who’s followed by more than 3.3 million people on Instagram; they were also together for around a year.
In 2010, David started dating Lina Radwan, a Mexican model and actress, who has five acting credits to her name. The two were together for nine years, before breaking up in 2019, again for unknown reasons.
As of September 2021, David seems to be single, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests
David has uploaded over 2,500 pictures onto his Instagram account, and seems to be enjoying the attention which he’s receiving from his more than 4.1 million followers. Most of his pictures have been taken during his everyday life.
He’s physically highly active, and has four to five training sessions at the gym each week, thus his muscular body.
