Hornsby made his film debut in 2001, appearing in the epic romantic war film “Pearl Harbour”. The following year he had a minor role in the science fiction film “Minority Report”, and then in 2003 he appeared in the Spike reality television hoax “The Joe Schmo Show” as Steve “The Hutch” Hutchison. The same year he was cast in the HBO drama television series “Six Feet Under”, with the recurring role of Patrick. Another recurring role also came in 2003, playing Denny in the sitcom “The Mullets”. In 2006 he provided his voice for the character of Brandon in the animated series “The X’s”, then from 2009 to 2014 he voiced Fanboy, a lead character from the animated series “Fanboy & Chum Chum”. In 2014 he created, wrote and was the executive producer of the animated series “Unsupervised”, in which he voiced the character of Joel Zymanski.
