Chris Parnell Net Worth $5 million

Chris is the son of voice actor Jack Parnell, possibly one of the reasons why Chris went into that side of the acting business. Chris attended Germantown High School, and after matriculating, went to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He would study Drama, and after graduating, move back to his hometown to teach acting at his former high school. Eventually, he decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career, joining with the group The Groundlings.

He performed numerous productions with The Groundlings, and was eventually hired to be a cast member of “Saturday Night Live”. He had few roles when he joined the show in 1998, but after a year he transitioned to being a regular cast member; this was the beginning of his increase in net worth. However, in 2001 Parnell was laid-off due to budget cuts and the acquisition of new cast members, but this situation did not last long, as he would return to SNL in the middle of the following season, performing numerous sketches, impressions and parodies. He was known to work with Andy Samberg, and has performed raps about the show’s numerous celebrity hosts, including Ashton Kutcher, Kirsten Dunst and Jennifer Garner. During his time with the show, he earned the nickname “The Ice Man” because of how he could perform without breaking character.

In 2006, Chris was fired once again due to budget cuts, though he mentioned that he was considering leaving the show after the season anyway. He spent eight seasons with “Saturday Night Live” in total, and would continue with a few cameo appearances over the next few years. He would then star in the 2010 sitcom “Big Lake” alongside former SNL cast-mate Horatio Sanz, before branching out into animated voice work, including for “Hotel Transylvania” and “Archer”. He has also made several guest appearances in shows such as “30 Rock”, and narrated the series “Word Girl”. In 2011, he was cast in the comedy show “Suburgatory”, remaining in it for three years; Parnell started out in the show as a recurring character but was eventually promoted to become a regular cast member.

A few of his latest projects include the animated Adult Swim show “Rick & Morty”, and being the voice of the commercials for Progressive Insurance. To date, Chris has appeared in over 40 films, and been involved in more than 80 TV, video and voice-over productions, so his continued work ensures that his net worth will rise further.

For his personal life, little is known of any relationships, not even any rumors – Chris is apparently still single.
