American actor, comedian, voice actor, producer, model and entrepreneur Ashton Kutcher was born on 7 February 1978, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, of Czech descent through his father, and the same plus German through his mother. He was reputedly the highest paid actor on TV, with a salary of $800,000 per episode of “Two and a Half Men” during its airing from 2011 to 2015. His career began in the late 1990s, as a model and then in TVs “That ’70s Show”.

So just how rich is Ashton Kucher, as of mid-2017? Unsurprisingly, authoritative sources estimate that Ashton’s net worth is over $220 million, and could be significantly larger except for his charitable nature, and investments in new technological ideas.

Ashton Kutcher Net Worth $220 Million

Before accumulating his wealth, Ashton Kucher was just an ordinary boy from Iowa, raised in a blue collar family with his twin brother. He was a student at the University of Iowa studying biochemical engineering, and was a Delta Chi Fraternity member before dropping out to follow his modeling carrier. Ashton started modeling on the catwalk for Calvin Klein amongst others, and in print, but it didn’t take him long to realize that his real dream lay in Hollywood. In 1998 Ashton moved to Los Angeles, and straight away was cast in “That ’70s Show” on Fox television, a great boost to his net worth.

Subsequently Kucher has been involved in 25 films on the big screen, and 30 TV productions as a star or producer. Some notable appearances include “Dude Where’s My Car”, “The Butterfly Effect”, “Just Married No Strings Attached”, and “What Happens in Vegas”.

As a producer, Ashton is best known for his hidden camera show “Punk’d” on MTV. He also has his own production company – Katalyst Films – producing TV shows and reality games.

As a business man, Ashton now owns several restaurants, and invests in new technologies.

In his sometimes less-than-private personal life, he also has to thank his marriage to actress Demi Moore for the public’s attention. The former wife of “Die Hard” star Bruce Willis and 15 years older than Ashton, Demi married Ashton in 2005, and even after their divorce in 2013, received lots of media attention. Now since his marriage to actress Mila Kunis in 2015 – who Ashton first met on “That ’70s Show” film set he is just as popular with the media, especially with a daughter and a son. The family now lives in Beverley Hills.

However, credit where it is due – in 2009 Ashton was the first celebrity to reach one million followers on Twitter!
