Ashley Cole was born on 20 December 1980, in Stepney, a neighborhood of London, England to a family of Barbadian and English ancestry, and is a defensive professional English football (soccer) player, now with Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer.

Cole started off by joining Arsenal, his local club in 1997. He made his debut in 1999 in a lost game against Middlesbrough. However, playing for Arsenal, he won the Premier League twice, in 2002 and 2004, and FA Cup three times as well. Despite suffering an injury in the 2005-06 season, Ashley fully recovered in a short period of time and was able to play in UEFA Champion’s League where Arsenal beat Barcelona. Overall, he scored nine goals.
