The wife of the famous “Black-ish” actor, Anthony Anderson, prefers to keep her private life away from the media’s attention. However, some facts about her are known – Alvina Renee Stewart was born under the zodiac sign of Sagittarius on 18 December 1970, in the USA, so she holds American nationality, and her ethnicity is African-American.

She hasn’t revealed any information about her childhood, but it’s assumed that she was raised by her parents, and attended a local high school – upon matriculating in 1988, she enrolled at Howard University in Washington DC, from which she graduated with a BA in 1992.

The rumors were confirmed when Alvina filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences, and court papers revealed that the two were living separately since April 2014. After three years, in January 2017, the two seem to have reconciled, and Alvina dismissed the divorce proceedings.

On 29 January 2017, they were seen on the red carpet at the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, in Los Angeles, California, and Anthony said: ‘It’s fun. It’s been a while since we’ve been on a red carpet together, but we’re here tonight so we’re excited about it!’, and it was clear that the couple were working on their relationship and continuing their love story.

As of January 2022, Anthony and Alvina are still together, living in their 3,450 square feet residence in Los Angeles, which they purchased for $1.1 million in April 2005.

Speaking about his personal life, he hasn’t spoken about his previous relationships before he married Alvina, however, he was accused three times of sexual assaults; first, in July 2004, he was accused of rape, but charges were dropped in October of the same year as the victim claimed that she was digitally raped, but the judge ruled that there was no probable cause for trial.

In September the same year, another woman accused him of making sexually suggestive remarks and assaulting her while she was in his dressing room, and then in 2018, he was investigated by the Los Angeles police for another sexual assault allegation, however, due to lack of evidence, the police didn’t press charges against Anthony.
