Andrew Cohen was born on 2 June 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri USA into a Jewish family, and is a television and film producer, actor, author, as well as a talk show host. Andy Cohen is perhaps best known as a host of a talk show based on pop culture called “Watch What Happens: Live”. The show first aired in 2009 and is based on presenting celebrity news. The show, where Cohen is also an executive producer, has been running for thirteen seasons as of 2015. In addition to this, Cohen is also recognized as a head of development of the basic cable and satellite television network called “Bravo”, which airs “Watch What Happens: Live” and other television shows. Cohen held the position for more than ten years, until he resigned in 2013.

Andy Cohen attended Clayton High School, and then went on to study at Boston University, from which he graduated in 1990 with a degree in journalism. Cohen’s television career began with a television and radio network “CBS News”, where he, together with Julie Chen, was an intern. When his internship ended, Cohen climbed the career ladder and eventually became a senior producer of a famous morning show aired on CBS, “The Early Show” with Julie Chen, Bryant Gumbel and Harry Smith as some of the anchors of the show. In addition to this, Cohen was a producer of two other shows, namely another morning television show called “CBS This Morning” and a documentary series “48 Hours”.

After ten years spent with CBS, in 2000 Cohen became a vice president of “Trio”, which is another television network. Several years later in 2004, Andy Cohen joined “Bravo”, where he worked until 2013. Throughout his career, Andy Cohen has been a part of some of the better known events and television shows, including Miss USA beauty pageant, “The Today Show” presented by Matt Lauer, Al Roker and other anchors, as well as “Live with Kelly and Michael”. Andy Cohen has also made an appearance on “Anderson Live”, hosted by Anderson Cooper and took part in a music video for Lady Gaga’s latest song called “G.U.Y”. Andy Cohen’s contributions have been awarded with an Emmy Award, as well as a Peabody Award, which he received in 2004 for a documentary called “The N-Word”.

Currently, Andy Cohen is an executive producer of a famous franchise called “The Real Housewives”. After its debut in 2006, the show became extremely popular in the United States and resulted in the creation of several spin-off series, as well as many international versions.

In his personal life, Andy remains single but has a devoted dog which shares his life.
