Who is Timothy Simons?
American actor, comedian, screenwriter and producer Timothy Charles Simons, was born in Readfield, Maine USA, on 12 June 1978, making his zodiac sign Gemini. He’s had roles in over 50 movies and TV series, and is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Jonah Ryan in the critically acclaimed comedy series “Veep”, which Armando Iannucci created, and which starred Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. It follows Selina Meyer who’s become the US Vice President, the series aired from 2012 to 2019, and won 94 of its 342 award nominations.
Education and early life
Timothy was raised in Readfield by his father Ron and mother Susan, however, not a lot is known about Timothy’s parents, because he respects their privacy; he hasn’t spoken in public about his siblings, so most of his fans thus believe that he has none.
Timothy grew up playing football, then became interested in acting upon enrolling at Maranacook Community High School; his drama teacher was able to convince him to appear in a school play, and it was love at first try for Timothy. He still chose to pursue education, and upon matriculating in 1997, enrolled at University of Maine, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in 2001.

Timothy’s also known for his voicing of Butcher Boy in the hit 2018 animated adventure comedy “Ralph Breaks the Internet”, which Rich Moore and Phil Johnston directed, and which starred Gal Gadot, Sarah Silverman and John C. Reilly. In 2019, Timothy played The Eagle in the romantic mini-series “Looking for Alaska”, which starred Denny Love, Kristine Froseth and Charlie Plummer, and tells the story of a student who’s just transferred schools, and has fallen in love with a charming but deceitful girl.
His most recent TV series roles have been in 2022, in five episodes of the biographical crime mini-series “Candy”, seven episodes of the animated adventure comedy “Faifax” (voice role) and 19 episodes of the animated comedy “House Broken” (voice role).
Other credits
Timothy wrote the 2013 short comedy movie “The Nanny”, and wrote and directed the 2017 short comedy film “A Tragedy”.
