Who is John Paul Tremblay?

An actor, comedian, producer and screenwriter, John Paul Tremblay is perhaps known best for his role as Julian in the series “Trailer Park Boys”, also starring Robb Wells and Mike Smith. The series is a spin-off from the 1999 movie of the same title, and follows the story of three petty felons who have made a documentary about their life in a trailer park.

John has over 50 acting credits to his name, and besides the aforementioned role, has been seen in several TV and short movies – some of his notable roles were in movies such as “Virginia’s Run” and “A Hole in One”.

John Paul Tremblay was born under the zodiac sign of Taurus on 17 May 1968, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, thus he holds Canadian nationality and his ethnicity is White.

John made his first television appearance as Julian in the series “Trailer Park Boys” in 2001 – the series was broadcast until 2018. Concurrently, he was seen as Thug in an episode of the series “Snakes & Ladders” (2004), “Drunk and on Drugs Happy Funtime Hour” (2011), and “Archer” (2012).


He followed with his roles in “Fried on the Ferry” (2013), “SwearNet on the Road” (2013-2014), and “Drunk as Fu*k” (2013-2014). In the same period, he starred as Julian in the TV mini-series “Updates from Sunnyvale”, and then in 2014 and ‘15, he reprised his role as Julian in “TPB 8.5” mini-series.

From 2015 until 2017, John was seen as Julian in “Dear Julian”, concurrently playing the same role in “Trailer Park Boys: Out of the Park” during 2016 and 2017.

His most recent work is also related to the “Trailer Park Boys” – he reprised his role in “Trailer Park Boys: Park After Dark” (2019-2022) and “Trailer Park Boys: Jail Shorts” (2020-2021).
