Who is Paulo Goude?
American musician Paulo Goude was born in New York State, USA, on 12 November 1979, meaning that his zodiac sign’s Scorpio. He’s perhaps best known for having been a member of the band Trybez, although he’s also known for being a son of famous French graphic designer and illustrator Jean-Paul Goude, and Jamaican model, singer and actress Grace Beverly Jones.
Education and early life
Paulo was raised in New York State solely by his mother, as his parents weren’t married and split while he was still young; his father eventually married Karen Park, and they have a son Theo and a daughter Lorelei together.
Paulo often travelled with his mother while growing up, and spent some time living in London, England and Paris, France. He studied at the Cambridge Centre, and also attended the International School of Paris from 1987 through 1997; he was mostly into music during his teenage years, learning to compose music digitally and play the piano.
Upon matriculating in 1997, Paulo enrolled at Alchemea College, London, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in audio engineering in 2001.
Paulo’s career
Paulo launched his modelling career straight out of high school, and was signed to both Agence Dynamite and Click Models.
The 9/11 events stopped the catwalk shows for a while, and because his modelling career was declining, Paulo chose to switch to music. He went on to found the band Trybez together with two friends, and they performed all around Europe prior to going on an indefinite hiatus; they were often an opening act during Paulo’s mother Grace’s tours.
Paulo’s also been credited with writing his mother’s 2008 song “Sunset Sunrise”, which was featured on her album “Hurricane”.
He’s still today working on his music career; Paulo’s YouTube channel numbers close to 45,000 subscribers, and all his videos combined have been watched over 3.3 million times.

Love life and relationships
Paulo hasn’t shared a lot about his love life with his fans, but it’s still known that he’s today a father of a 14 years old girl.
Not long after the founding of his band Trybez, Paulo became romantically linked to his bandmate Azella Amigues; she gave birth to their daughter Athena in 2008. It remains undisclosed whether or not Paulo and Azella are still dating, but most of his fans believe that they split not long after Athena was born.
Paulo’s mother Grace has revealed that Athena’s a gifted musician, and that she was able to play classical piano without looking at the keys when she was eight.
Paulo hasn’t mentioned other women whom he’s dated, and he seems to be unattached as of December 2022, hasn’t married and has a daughter with his former girlfriend Azella Amigues.

Jamaican singer, actress and model Grace Beverly Jones was born in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Jamaica on 19 May 1948, meaning that her zodiac sign’s Taurus. She’s successful in all three fields: Grace has modelled for many popular brands, and has been featured on the covers of numerous popular magazines, including “Vogue” and “Elle”; she’s had roles in more than 50 movies and TV series, and is perhaps still best known for her playing of Zula in the 1984 action fantasy adventure movie “Conan the Destroyer”, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and won one of its four award nominations, and as May Day in the James Bond film “A View to a Kill” in 1985.
Grace was raised in Spanish Town by her father Robert W. Jones who was a politician, and who died aged 83 in 2008, and mother Marjorie (nee Williams) who passed away in 2017, aged 90; Grace has five siblings. The family eventually moved to the US East Coast, and Robert became a Pentecostal minister following a failed suicide attempt. Grace switched from disco to new wave music in 1980, with her fourth album “Warm Leatherette”; she then released “Nightclubbing” in 1981, “Living My Life” in 1982 and “Slave to the Rhythm” in 1985.
She starred as herself in the 1990 documentary movie “Superstar: The Life and Times of Andy Warhol”, and in 1992 portrayed the lead character Helen Strange, starring alongside Eddie Murphy in the romantic comedy movie “Boomerang”; Grace then appeared in the 1998 movie “The Avengers” and the 1999 series “Beastmaster”.
Around 20 years after she had decided not to release more albums, Grace teamed up with music producer Ivor Guest and released her 10th album “Hurricane” on 3 November 2008, comprising 23 songs.
She published her memoir “I’ll Never Write My Memoirs” on 29 September 2015.
Most recently, on 14 November 2022, it was revealed that Grace would be performing at the 2023 Camp Bestival, while some of the other performers will be The Human League, The Kooks and Primal Scream.
Grace exchanged vows with Atila Altaunbay in 1996, but they divorced in 2004; Paulo’s her only child.
