In 1952, he began writing scripts for the TV series “Guiding Light”, which was aired from 1956 to 1957, and really marked the beginning of his net worth. When the filming was ended, William moved his focus to another TV series entitled “Another World” (1964-1985), writing all 343 episodes, along with Irna Phillips.
