Dominique was born in Bristol, England, on 24 March 1990 – their zodiac sign’s Aries, and they hold both Canadian and British nationality. Dominique was born a girl but in 2021 came out as non-binary and gender fluid, wanting to be referred to with the pronouns they/them; a year earlier, they stated that they was a queer woman.

They’re an actor and singer, with close to 20 acting credits to their name, while they’re perhaps known best for their portrayal of Zrinka in the critically acclaimed 2015 action science fiction adventure movie “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, written and directed by Joss Whedon, and which starred Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo. It follows Bruce Banner and Tony Stark who’ve launched the peacekeeping program Ultron, but now that things have gone awry, they have to prevent Ultron from destroying the world; the movie won eight of the 59 awards for which it was nominated.

Dominique was raised in Bristol by their British father Christopher Chalkley, who’s the founder of the People’s Republic of Stokes Croft, as well as an artist and manager, and their Canadian mother Danielle Provost who’s a housewife. Because they haven’t spoken of having any siblings, most of Dominique’s fans believe them to be an only child.

They became interested in dancing at the age of four, and began taking classes in 1995. Dominique only became interested in acting upon enrolling at a local high school, and was 16 when they began practicing both singing and acting at the Laine Theatre Arts School.

Upon matriculating in 2008, they chose not to pursue a college degree, but to work on their way up in the film industry.

Dominique made their debut TV series appearance in 2008, when cast to play Dancer in nine episodes of the drama “Britannia High”; it starred Sapphire Elia, Georgian Hagen and Rana Roy, and follows a group of students who are attending the London school Britannia High, and are struggling to succeed in the music industry.

The year 2012 saw Dominique play Jenny in the episode “Boyband” of the comedy “The Midnight Beast”, and in 2016, they played Elizabeth Atherly in the episodes “Great Balls of Fire: Parts 1 and 2” of the critically acclaimed crime drama “Murdoch Mysteries”. Dominique’s since appeared in only two TV series: as Arianna in the 2017 episode “Mother” of the hit adventure mystery drama “12 Monkeys”, and 49 episodes of the action fantasy drama “Wynonna Earp”, in which they starred alongside Tim Rozon and Melanie Scrofano from 2016 to 2021. They are currently shooting for the upcoming series “The No Hopers”.

Dominique made their debut film appearance in the 2012 horror thriller “The Seasoning House”, written and directed by Paul Hyett, and which starred Rosie Day, Sean Pertwee and Kevin Howarth. Dominique’s quite active on Instagram and is today followed by more than 300,000 people, while they’ve uploaded over 1,000 pictures onto the network, the majority of which have been taken during their everyday life.

They’re passionate about travelling, and have been to various European countries and US states for both work and pleasure, while their dream travel destination’s India.

They’re an avid guitar player, while they can also play the piano and drums.

Dominique’s a lover of animals, and has donated money to a couple of animal shelters.

Health issues

Dominique’s suffering from Raynaud syndrome, which means that there’s sometimes reduced blood flow to the end of their arterioles, which then causes their fingers, toes and rarely nose and ears to turn white, and then blue.
