American social media star, fitness trainer, model and YouTuber Demi Brooke Bagby, was born in San Diego, California USA, on 10 January 2001, making Capricorn her zodiac sign. She’s perhaps known best for her self-titled YouTube channel, which she launched on 27 January 2013, and which is today subscribed to by close to 700,000 people. All of the channel’s videos together have been watched close to 300 million times, most of which feature Demi working out, talking about her everyday life, and taking on popular internet challenges.
Early life and education
Demi was raised alongside her older sister and two older brothers in San Diego, by their mother Riza and father Forlan Bagby who’ve been very supportive of her career, while Demi’s featured them in many of her YouTube videos; her sister Desire’s today working as a lawyer.
Demi studied at Torrey Pines High School, and was a member of its cheerleading team; she suffered a serious injury during a cheerleading accident in 2014 and broke her back. The doctors told Demi that she would never walk again, however, after three months of rest, she began working on getting back on her feet, and managed to prove all her doctors wrong; Demi’s since been working on making her body stronger, exercising on a daily basis, boxing, running marathons and competing in triathlons.
