Early life and education

Marty was raised in Auburn by his mother, and his father Donald York; nothing about his parents is known, as he respects their privacy, but it’s said that Marty’s father was a lawyer, and that his mother is a housewife. Because he hasn’t mentioned having any siblings, most of his fans believe that he’s an only child.

Marty became interested in acting when he was around six years old, mostly because he watched TV with his parents nearly every night. His role in “The Sandlot” was also his debut appearance, and he was 12 while shooting for the movie. Marty was focused solely on acting for the following five years, but then chose to focus on his education.
