Who is Brandon Quintin Adams?

American actor Brandon Quintin Adams was born in Topeka, Kansas USA, on 22 August 1979, making his zodiac sign Leo. He’s had roles in nearly 40 movies and TV series, and is perhaps still best known for his playing of the lead character Fool in the 1991 mystery horror comedy movie “The People Under the Stairs”, written and directed by Wes Craven, and which also starred Everett McGill and Wendy Robie. It follows three people who’ve broken into a house, while they now have to fight for their lives; the movie won two of its 10 award nominations.

Brandon’s not to be confused with Brandon Quention ‘Q’ Adams, who’s a former boyfriend of famous American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish.

Brandon was raised in Topeka by his parents, however, almost nothing is known about his mother and father, because he’s respective of their privacy; most of his fans believe that his father was a painter, and his mother a theatre actress. Brandon hasn’t mentioned having siblings, and it’s thus believed that he has none.

He became interested in acting at quite an early age, and was only seven when he made his debut TV series appearance, playing Phil in the 1986 episode “Last Man on Earth” of the family comedy “Benson”; only two years later, Brandon appeared in the music video “Michael Jackson: Smooth Criminal”, and also made his film debut by playing Zeke in the action crime fantasy “Moonwalker”.

Brandon portrayed both Dion and Tino (1989-1991) in the comedy “A Different World”, which Bill Cosby created, and which starred Jasmine Guy, Kadeem Hardison and Lisa Bonet. It follows several black teenagers as they’re attending college, the series aired from 1987 to 1993, and won 17 of its 28 award nominations. Brandon was then cast to play and voice characters in an episode of the comedy “Drexell’s Class”, the crime comedy drama “Nightmare Café” and the animated family comedy “Tom & Jerry Kids Show” (voice role).

In 1998 and 1999, he portrayed Aaron in the family comedy drama “Moesha”, which Vida Spears and Sara Finney-Johnson created, and which starred Marcus T. Paulk, William Allen Young and Brandy Norwood. It follows the life of a teenage girl, and the series won three of its 32 award nominations.

Brandon’s since appeared in several movies, but only a single TV series: he played Wales in the 2018 comedy “Reborn”.

The year 1990 saw Brandon play Jimmy Bean in the musical family drama “Polly: Comin’ Home!”, directed by Debbie Allen, and which starred Keshia Knight Pulliam, Phylicia Rashad and Dorian Harewood; it follows the life of an ingenious orphan in ‘50s Alabama.

In 1991, he portrayed Brandon Chase in the comedy “Sunday in Paris”, and could then have been seen playing Marcus in the 1992 family comedy drama “The Boys” and Jesse Hall in the 1992 family comedy “The Mighty Ducks”. He played Kenny DeNunez in the 1993 comedy “The Sandlot”, which David Mickey Evans wrote and directed, and which starred Art LaFleur, Mike Vitar and Tom Guiry. It follows a boy who’s moved to another city with his family in 1962; the movie was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Outstanding Youth Ensemble in a Motion Picture.

A couple of Brandon’s other notable performances in the ‘90s were in the 1993 horror science fiction thriller “Ghost in the Machine”, the 1994 thriller “Beyond Desire” and the 1997 musical “Michael Jackson: HIStory on Film – Volume II”.

He appeared in only one movie in the 2000s: the 2001 action drama “MacArthur Park”, which failed to attract any attention.

In 2014, Brandon portrayed Mike in the short drama “Stuck in the Corners”, and he’s since only appeared in the 2021 horror “The Resort”, written and directed by Taylor Chien, and which starred Bianca Haase, Brock O’Hurn and Michael Vlamis. It follows four people who’ve travelled to an abandoned resort in Hawaii hoping to find the Half-Faced Girl.

He voiced Raijin (Rai) in the 2004 video game “Kingdom Hearts II” and the 2007 video game “Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+”.

He was featured in the 1987 documentary movie “Conspiracy: The Trial of the Chicago 8” and the 2018 documentary film “Legends Never Die: The Sandlot Story”.

Brandon’s made a guest appearance in talk-shows “Today” and “That’s the Fxxking Trailer”, amongst others.

Brandon’s won two of his six award nominations. He won a 1989 Young Artist Award for Best Young Actor/Actress in a Film Made for Video, for his performance in “Moonwalker”, and he and his colleagues won a 1994 Young Artist Award for Outstanding Youth Ensemble in a Motion Picture, for their performance in “Sandlot”.

Brandon hasn’t shared a lot about his love life with the public, and people often tend to confuse him with American rapper Brandon Quention Adams aka 7:AMP, who was in a relationship with Billie Eilish; the two were together from the summer of 2018 to June 2019, when Billie broke up. She revealed that the two weren’t compatible, and that her boyfriend wasn’t able to love himself, which then meant that he was unable to love her either.
