Who is Leah Jeffries?

American child actress Leah Sava Jeffries was born under the zodiac sign Libra, on 25 September 2009 in Detroit, Michigan USA. She has seven acting credits and is perhaps known best for portraying Norah Samuels in the 2022 action adventure movie “Beast”, directed by Baltasar Kormakur, and which starred Liyabuya Gongo, Martin Munro and Daniel Hadebe. It follows a father and his two daughters as they’re being hunted by a lion – the movie was nominated for two awards.

Leah and her older brother Floyd Jeffries, who’s today also an actor and model, were raised in Detroit by their father Floyd S. Jeffries Jr. and mother Leah Jeffries; it’s believed that Leah’s parents are both talent agents, but this remains unconfirmed.

She was scouted at a very early age and began working as a model aged four, appearing in a commercial for the beauty brand Carol’s Daughter. Leah was five when cast to appear in her first TV series, playing Lola in six episodes (2015-2016) of the popular musical series “Empire”, which Danny Strong and Lee Daniels created, and which aired from 2015 through 2020. Jones, Jessica ‘Jess Hilarious’ Moore and Lil Rel Howery. It follows a comedian as he’s trying to ‘fix’ his life now that his marriage has fallen apart, and the series was nominated for two awards.

Leah’s only other TV series role has been playing one of the lead characters Annabeth Chase in three episodes of the 2023 action family adventure “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”, created by Jonathan E. Steinberg and Rick Riordan, and which also stars Walker Scobell and Aryan Simhadri. It follows Demigod Percy Jackson as he’s trying to prevent a war between the Olympian gods, and the series has been nominated for two awards.

Leah sang the song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” in the 2015 episode “The Lyon’s Roar” of the series “Empire”.

The year 2022 saw her make her first talk-show guest appearance in “Today”, and she then went on to appear in “IMDb on the Scene – Interviews”, “IMDb on the Scene” and “Access Hollywood”.
