Who is Math Hoffa?
American rapper, YouTuber and social media star Justin Edwards – aka Math Hoffa – was born under the zodiac sign Taurus on 16 May 1980, in Brooklyn, New York City USA. He’s perhaps known best for his YouTube channel “Math Hoffa”, which he launched on 26 September 2006 and which is today subscribed to by nearly 950,000 people; he’s shared over 3,100 videos, and all of these together today number close to 300 million views. Although Math initially focused on sharing his original music videos, he’s nowadays mostly into uploading videos which feature him talking about his life, interviewing popular rappers, and spending time with his closest friends.
Education and early life
Math was raised in Brooklyn by his parents who want to be left out of media, and Math thus doesn’t speak about them in public; it’s believed that they were poor while Math was growing up, and that there sometimes wasn’t enough food on the table for the whole family. Math hasn’t talked about having siblings, but his fans believe that he has an older brother.
He attended a local high school and it was upon enrolling at it in 1994 that he became passionate about rap music; he admired the older boys who freestyled in the street, and often asked them for advice. Math was into a couple of activities during his teenage years, as he appeared in several school plays, took singing lessons, and played basketball. It’s rumored that his mother persuaded him to join a church choir, but was a member for a couple of months then quit, although this is yet to be addressed by Math.

His #1 video “MY EXPERT OPINION EP#133: TONY YAYO & UNCLE MURDA” has been watched nearly three million times since it was posted on 10 October 2022, and features him interviewing popular American rappers Uncle Murda and Tony Yayo.
Math’s second most popular video “RAPPERS SELLING THEIR SOULS FOR RECORD DEALS?!!!” has been viewed more than 2.2 million times since 26 May 2021, and features Math and several other rappers discussing other rappers who would sell themselves for a good record deal.
His #3 video “LEGENDS ONLY: METHOD MAN VS MATH HOFFA” has been watched close to two million times since 19 August 2020, and features Math and American rapper Method Man freestyle rapping.

Math’s quite popular on various social media networks and close to 200,000 people are following him on Instagram today, while he’s shared over 5,000 pictures and videos; most feature him spending time with friends, shooting his YouTube videos and rapping at various venues.
Math’s also active on TikTok; he’s created his account just recently and has already attracted close to 35,000 followers, with all of his videos numbering more than 320,000 likes; most feature him interviewing various people, talking about his favorite rappers and spending time with his friends and family.
Math’s tweeted more than 110,000 times since he created his Twitter account in March 2009; close to 65,000 people are following him on this network today. He mostly uses Twitter to share his opinion on various matters, as well as to announce the upload of his new YouTube videos; Math tweets at least once every day.
His Facebook page is today followed by close to 100,000 people, and he tends to update it every day; his most recent post was on 23 January 2024, when he shared a video featuring American rapper Lil Scrappy talking about his first fight.

Love life and girlfriend
Math avoids speaking about his love life on the internet but it’s widely known that he’s a married man, even though he and his wife have been separated for around two months now.
He and Jen Hoffa began dating in 2019, when they were introduced by a mutual friend; the date of their wedding remains undisclosed, and they don’t have children together. Math often featured Jen in his YouTube videos while they were still living together, including the video in which they gave their fans relationship advice. However, it was in a YouTube livestream on 20 November 2023 that Math revealed that he and Jen had separated.
Prior to meeting Jen, he was in a relationship with Bonnie Godiva, an American rapper and social media personality.
We don’t know about other women whom Math’s perhaps been with; he’s married to Jen Hoffa (separated) as of January 2024, and doesn’t have children.
