Who is Jonathan Banks?

American actor Jonathan Banks was born in Washington, D.C. USA, on 31 January 1947, meaning that his zodiac sign’s Capricorn and has American nationality. He’s had roles in over 170 movies and TV series, and is perhaps best known for his playing of Mike Ehrmantraut in what’s rated one of the best series of all time: the crime thriller “Breaking Bad”. Education and early life

Jonathan was raised in Chillum Heights, Maryland as an only child, solely by his mother Elena Adams Banks who worked for the CIA as a secretary, while she also worked as a private secretary to Admiral Chester William Nimitz; Jonathan hasn’t shared any details concerning his father. Elena passed away on 16 September 2012, aged 94.

Jonathan studied at Northwood High School, and was urged by his mother to focus on his education, as she believed that graduating from college would mean that he’d have a steady source of income. Some of Jonathan’s most notable performances in the ‘90s were perhaps in the comedy “Women of the House”, another comedy “Fired Up”, and the crime mystery “Diagnosis Murder”.

He appeared in an episode or two of over 10 series in the 2000s, and also played Shadow Man in seven episodes of the 2007 action science fiction “Day Break”, created by Paul Zbyszewski, and which starred Taye Diggs, Moon Bloodgood and Victoria Pratt. Jonathan’s married twice. He wed non-celebrity American Marnie Fausch on 9 September 1968, in a private ceremony attended by not more than 100 people; they have a daughter together, but divorced in 1970.

Since December 1990, Jonathan’s been married to Gennera, another non-celebrity American, who prefers to stay away from media, and thus not a lot about her has been disclosed. Jonathan and Gennera have fraternal twins together, and she has a stepdaughter from a previous relationship/marriage.
