Jessica and Jason had a long history together, being the model ‘high school sweethearts’. Their relationship continued even after Jason gained fame for his music, and in 2001 the couple celebrated their love by tying the knot in a private ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jessica gave birth to their first child, daughter Keeley in February 2003, and four years later in August 2007, they welcomed their second daughter Kendyl.
During their marriage, Jessica was working for Jason as his assistant, handling his finances and business matters. ‘She handles all the stuff I don’t want to handle. I’m the guy who wants to play my music and meet my fans. She picks up the phone and makes the business call. When it comes to the music, she’ll give me her opinion if I ask her but that’s about it. The scandal caused a huge drift in Jessica’s marriage with Jason, and in April 2013, he filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was finalized in 2014, and Jason then announced his engagement with Brittany. Jason was born to Debbie and Barry Aldean, who divorced when he was only three years old – he continued living with his mother in Macon, while spending summers with his father in Florida. Jason discovered his talent for music at an early age, making his first public appearance as a singer at the age of 14. Aside from music, he was also quite athletic growing up, and played baseball for his high school’s team. He was one of the best players in his school, and was even offered athletic scholarships at several colleges, however, he rejected them in favor of pursuing a career as a musician.
He soon started performing in bars and other small venues through the US Southeast, with the help of his father who was his booking agent at the time.
