Who is Ashlyn Casalegno?

American actress and social media personality Ashlyn Casalegno, was born under the zodiac sign Leo on 17 August 2007 in the USA. She has only three acting credits, and is perhaps known best for portraying Charlotte in the critically acclaimed 2017 science fiction action movie “Logan”, written and directed by James Mangold, and which starred Dafne Keen, Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman. It follows mutant Logan who’s leading a peaceful life away from humans, but now has to help a mutant child escape a group of scientists pursuing her; the movie won 28 of the 110 awards for which it was nominated, including an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Ashlyn’s today focused on her acting career and is currently shooting for the upcoming comedy movie “Hidden in the Heart of Texas: The Official Hide and Go Seek Documentary”, in which she’ll be playing the supporting character Girl Scout; the film’s being directed by Robert Dahlem and will star Kurt Basa, Michael Boucher and Greg Romero Wilson. It’s about a group of former professional athletes, as they’re taking part in one final competition with high stakes.

Early life and education

Ashlyn’s being raised in the US alongside her brothers Gavin and Logan, by their father Bryan Casalegno who’s today working at Ericsson’s 5G distribution innovation network as a technology manager, and mother Allyson Casalegno who was Ashlyn’s manager. Ashlyn’s brother Gavin is a popular American actor with 19 credits, perhaps known best for portraying one of the main characters Jeremiah in all 16 episodes of the 2023 romantic series “The Summer I Turned Pretty”.

Ashlyn fell in love with acting at an early age, mostly because she admired her brother Gavin; she was eight when she made her debut film appearance, portraying the main character Abby in the 2015 short thriller “Something’s Here”, written and directed by Daniel Montes, and which also starred Colton Tapp and Suzanne Racz. It follows Thomas and his daughter Abby as they’re experiencing paranormal disturbance at their home.

Ashlyn studied at a local elementary school in Los Angeles, California, as the family moved there so that she and her brother Gavin could work on their acting careers; she was passionate about multiple activities during those eight years, as she took dance and acting lessons, played soccer and learned to play the piano. Ashlyn enrolled at a local high school in 2021 and has continued dancing and playing sports there, while she’s today also into creative writing.

Ashlyn’s only other acting credit has been playing one of the main characters Gwendolyn in the 2020 adventure family fantasy movie “Remnants of the Fallen”, written by Carolyn Johnston and Steve Copling, and which also starred Danny Trejo and Bianca D’Ambrosio; it follows five warriors-in-training who’ve inadvertently entered the dark realm.

Ashlyn’s active on multiple social media networks, and is today followed by more than 55,000 people on Instagram, while she’s shared over 150 pictures and videos; most feature Ashlyn spending time with her friends, shooting for her movies and travelling around the US.

Ashlyn’s steadily building a fanbase for herself on TikTok; she’s today followed by nearly 11,000 people, and all her four videos combined have amassed nearly 20,000 likes. Three of these feature her spending time with her pet cat and horse, while her fourth shows her telling her fans that she’s turned 16.

Ashlyn launched her Twitter account in September 2021, and it’s today followed by only 10 people as Ashlyn’s yet to tweet; it’s widely believed that she actually tweeted a couple of times by the end of 2021, but that she’s since deleted her posts for unknown reasons.
