Ann Cusack hails from Manhattan, New York City, and was born under the Gemini zodiac sign on 22 May 1961, which makes her 61 years old as of 2022. She is the daughter of the political activist and former mathematics tutor, Ann ‘Nancy’ Paula, and her husband, the writer, producer and actor, Dick Cusack. She was raised alongside her younger siblings, the screenwriter, producer, actor and political activist John Paul Cusack, actress Joan Mary Cusack Burke, actress Sussie Cusack, and Bill Cusack. Her family relocated to Evanston, Illinois, when she was a child. She’s a devoted Irish Catholic.

2000 saw Ann cast in the Mike Nichols-directed sci-fi film “What Planet Are You From?” and in 2004, she starred as Julie Shaw in the drama series “The Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire.” She also landed the recurring roles of Susan and Sarah in the series “The Unit” (2008-2009) and “Private Practice” (2009-2011) respectively. Meantime, Ann also co-starred as Malissa R. Ventura in the comedy “Ace Ventura Jr: Pet Detective” in 2009.

In 2016, Cusack had the chance to work with Tom Hanks in the biographical film “Sully,” which was directed by Clint Eastwood, and is about how pilot Chesley Sullenberger glided Flight 1549 to the Hudson River ditching and saved 155 lives. King, among others. She’s performed all over Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago to full houses in nightclubs such as Upstairs@Vitellos, Vibrato Jazz Grill, and many more. Her band has Jeff Dean as a bassist, Sammy K ‘Kestenholtz’ as the drummer, and Gordie Germaine as the guitarist. She is also part of the blues band Blues Adjacent, and performs in clubs alongside Andy Comeau, Thomas Silcott, Steve Dublin and Bob Tomer, among others. The duo wedded in 1991 and parted ways in 2004 and have a child named Alexandra Piddock together.
