Virender Sehwag was born on the 20th October 1978, in Najafgarh, Delhi, India, and is a former professional cricket player, who is most famous for being the captain of the Indian national cricket team, in addition to being one of the most destructive batsmen in world cricket. Virender was honored with the prestigious Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World award twice in a row, in 2008 and 2009.

Virender’s professional debut occurred in 1997 when he became a member of the Delhi cricket team. In his career, Sehwag played in 104 tests, with a batting average of just under 50, including 23 centuries with a top score of 319. In 251 ODIs, he scored 15 hundreds at an average of 35, with his top score being 219.
