Victoria Fyodorovna Azárenka was born on 31st July 1989, in Minsk, (then) Byelorussian SSR, and is a professional tennis player, best known to the world for winning the Australian Open on two occasions, while she also won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics held in London. Victoria spent her childhood in her hometown with her older brother Max, but moved to Arizona USA when she was 15 in order to pursue a career in tennis.
She made her debut back in 2003 on the ITF junior tour, joining Olga Govortsova in a doubles combination, and eventually winning one title.
