Soon after, he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company and starred in “After Haggerty” in 1970. His minor roles in theatre and television started building his name and net worth, but his breakthrough came when he was included in the cast of the stage production of “The Rocky Horror Show.”

Curry eventually ventured into movies and television, playing mostly villains such as in the miniseries “It”, “The Three Musketeers” and “Muppet Treasure Island”. With his deep tone, he also lent his voice to several characters in projects like “Peter Pan and Pirates”, “Sonic the Hedgehog” and “The Rugrats Movie”. All of his other endeavours have helped make him well-known in the world of Hollywood, bring him many nominations and awards, and increased his net worth.

In terms of his personal life, Curry is single. In 2012, he suffered a stroke which affected his mobility and speech, but reports say that he is recovering and will come back in 2016 for the FOX production of “Rocky Horror Picture Show”.
