Who is Eboni Nichols?
American dancer, choreographer and actress Eboni Nichols was born in Los Angeles, California USA, on 12 May 1978, making Taurus her zodiac sign. She’s worked as a choreographer on over 40 movies and TV series, but is perhaps still known best for working on the hit 2006 musical movie “Dreamgirls”, which Bill Condon directed, and which starred Eddie Murphy, Jamie Foxx and Beyonce. It follows three women as they’re trying to succeed as soul singers in the ‘60s, and the movie won 69 of its 162 award nominations, including two Oscar wins for Best Achievement in Sound Mixing, and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role (Jennifer Hudson).
Eboni’s also known for being the girlfriend of famous American actress and rapper Queen Latifah.
Education and early life
Eboni was raised in Los Angeles by her parents, about whom not a lot is known as they prefer to maintain their privacy; it’s believed that Eboni’s mother was a dance instructor, and her father a high school teacher. Because Eboni hasn’t spoken about having siblings, she’s believed to be an only child.
She was still attending a local elementary school when she became interested in dancing, and began taking dance lessons. Eboni then studied at Hamilton High School, and appeared in several school plays during her four years there, and was also a member of its cheerleading team.
Upon matriculating in 1996, Eboni enrolled at Chapman University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2000.

Eboni’s debut as a choreographer was on the 2003 romantic musical “Honey”, while she then worked on the 2006 sports comedy “Blades of Glory”, the 2010 music video “Cody Simpson Feat. Flo Rida: iYiYi”, and the 2011 comedy “Jack and Jill”.
In 2016, she worked on the comedy “Office Christmas Party”, directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck, and which starred Jason Bateman, Olivia Munn and T. J. Miller. It follows a branch manager who’s throwing a Christmas party to attract a big client, but the party eventually gets out of control; the film won one of its two award nominations.

Then in 2017 Eboni worked on family comedy “XQ Super School Live” and the critically acclaimed action adventure comedy “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle”, followed by the 2018 comedy “Night School”.
In 2020, she worked on the romantic musical “The High Note”, directed by Nisha Ganatra, and which starred Dakota Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross and Kelvin Harrison Jr. It follows the lives of a superstar and her personal assistant, and the movie won one of its nine award nominations.

She made her acting debut in the critically acclaimed 2000 fantasy comedy “Bedazzled”, directed by Harold Ramis, and which starred Brendan Fraser, Elizabeth Hurley and France O’Connor.
