Odell Cornelious Beckham Jr. was born on 5 November 1992, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA, the son of Odell Beckham Jr, a former running back, and Heather Van Norman, a track runner. He’s the oldest of three siblings, and has a brother Kordell, and sister Jasmine.
Odell went to Isidore Newman School, where he excelled in football, basketball and track. He played American Football as a quarterback, wide receiver, running back, and cornerback during high school.
After a successful career on a high school level, Odell committed to Louisiana State University, despite offers from Ole Miss, Tulane, Tulsa, Nebraska, and other universities.

The following season was his best in the NFL to date – he started in 15 games and caught 96 passes for 1,450 yards and 13 receiving touchdowns.
