When Howie graduated from college, he bought an engagement ring for Diane and proposed to her, and the two married on 27 June 1982. In 1985 they were blessed with their first son, Christopher, and then their second son Kyle was born in 1988, while the youngest, named Howie Junior, was born in 1990.
Diane left her career behind and devoted her life to raising their sons, and being a support to her husband’s professional career.
Their three sons all followed in their father’s steps and became professional football players, but their parents are also proud of them for being caring, kind and generous, and proudest of their son Christopher when he donated all his salary to charity, and according to sources that was an amount of around $400,000; Christopher continued with his charity work until he retired.

Howard Matthew Moses ‘Howie’ Long was born under the zodiac sign of Capricorn on 6 January 1960, in Somerville, Massachusetts USA; he holds American nationality and his ethnicity is White. He’s a former professional American Football player, who played in the National Football League for 13 seasons with the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders as a Defensive end.
