Early life and education

Sire Jackson was born on 1 September 2012, in Los Angeles, California USA. Sire received the Panther Pride Academic Award in Language Arts as the Student of the Month in September 2022, according to HipHopDX. Panther Pride Foundation awards this need-based financial aid to students from lower-class and middle-class communities.

Father

Sire’s dad, Curtis James ‘50 Cent’ Jackson III, is a rapper, businessman, actor, and television producer, born on 6 July 1975, in the Queens borough of New York City, USA. He was best known for forming the G-Unit hip-hop group, which included artists Lloyd Banks, The Game, Young Buck, and Tony Yayo. 50 Cent released two studio albums with G-Unit, “Beg for Mercy” in 2003 and “T·O·S (Terminate on Sight)” in 2008. As a solo artist, 50 Cent was best known for releasing studio albums “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” in 2003, “Curtis” in 2007, and “Before I Self Destruct” in 2009.

He was also a prominent investor and producer who ‘provided for himself by any means’ by his admission. 50 Cent has most notably been involved with the production of television series on Starz Network, such as “Power,” its sequel “Power Book II: Ghost,” and “Black Mafia Family.” Sire’s paternal grandmother is Sabrina Jackson, who gave birth to Sire’s father when she was 15. She raised 50 single-handedly because Sire’s paternal grandfather, Curtis Jackson II, was absent from 50 Cent’s life. Sabrina dabbled in drug dealing to support her son financially, but died in a house fire when he was eight.

Mother, ancestry

Sire’s mother, actress and fashion designer Daphne Joy Narvaez, was born on 8 February 1987, in Olongapo, Philippines. She was best known for appearing in the “Beautiful” music video by Akon, Kardinal Offishall, and Colby O’Donis in 2009, and playing a mermaid in “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” in 2011. Daphne has over 1.7 million followers on her Instagram account – daphnejoy – and designs various clothing, primarily swimwear and silhouette dresses, via her fashion label, Daphne Joy Collection. Sire’s maternal grandmother is Daphne Joy Cervantes Narvaez. Sire is of African-American descent on his paternal side, according to EthniCelebs.com, and of Puerto Rican and Filipino descent on his maternal side.

Sibling

Sire has an older half-brother, Marquise Jackson, born on 13 October 1996 to his father’s girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins. 50 Cent claimed that Marquise’s birth permanently altered his worldviews, as he suddenly realized that he wanted to have a relationship with his son because he didn’t have one with his own father. His son’s birth also inspired him to tweak his music genre and lyrics.

However, 50 Cent and Shaniqua split in 2008, and Shaniqua sued him for $50 million the following year, citing his promise to support her forever financially. They’ve had a tumultuous relationship ever since, especially since 50 Cent could only see him one weekend per month, and nearly disappeared from his life after Marquise turned 10.

According to Newsweek, the main reason for the rocky relationship was the lack of funds and his father’s reputation. Marquise explained in 2022 via Instagram that ‘he was receiving about $81,000 yearly from his father, and that living with $6,700 monthly in New York City was nearly impossible.’ Following accusations of entitlement, Marquise clarified that his father feuded with nearly everyone in the music industry. Thus, he and his mother couldn’t live where they wanted.

First two years

Sire has been mentioned in the media shortly after birth; according to Complex, his parents started dating in early 2011 and broke up in 2012. Sadly, when Sire had just turned one, his father was arrested and charged with domestic violence. According to LA Times, shortly after they called it quits, on 23 June, 50 broke into Daphne’s house and angrily smashed things, including chandeliers, furniture, a television screen, and a lamp. He eventually kicked her and left.

He faced one domestic violence charge and four counts of vandalism, and could have been sentenced to five years in jail and $46,000 in penalties for his actions, as he damaged about $7,100 worth of property. Complex reported that 50 Cent initially denied the charges but later pleaded guilty and was charged with one count of vandalism. On top of paying for the damage, he received 30 days of community service, counseling sessions, and three years of probation. Additionally, Daphne’s restraining order against 50 Cent remained, preventing him from spending time with Sire for some time. TMZ revealed that 50 Cent refused to sign Sire’s birth certificate, or Daphne purposefully left the section blank. However, the court documents mentioned that Daphne and 50 Cent had ‘a child in common.’

Career

Sire’s parents buried the hatchet for his sake before he turned two, and his father helped him start his modeling career; that was unsurprising because his mother frequently posted photos in which he wore leather jackets and denim. Los Angeles Times reported that ’50 Cent’s 2-year-old makes more money than all of us’ when he modeled the Kidz Safe brand of headphones for children. Sire came a long way; around that time, he got spooked by something while modeling at L.A. Fashion Week. He was wearing Isabella Couture clothing, and nearly reached the end of the catwalk during the Art Hearts Fashion Show. After Sire froze in place a few steps short of the exit, his mother picked him up and carried him off – Daphne noted that he was the youngest model, and people in attendance celebrated his courage.

Mentions in news

Sire was absent from the media until 2015, when E! News interviewed his father. Sire suddenly entered the shot and played with his Matchbox cars before sitting in his father’s lap. The news anchor, Kristin dos Santos, inquired about his modeling contract and recommended that 50 Cent match Sire with North West, the child of rapper Kanye West, and model and reality TV personality Kim Kardashian, born on 15 June 2013.

In January 2018, Sire attended the “Den of Thieves” movie premiere, in which his father played Enson Levoux, one of the lead characters. In August of that year, 50 Cent announced that he’d launched the champagne brand Sire Spirits. However, the packaging contained no references to his son, likely due to legal issues. The media also mentioned Sire while reporting on the drama-filled relationship between 50 Cent and Marquise.

In 2018 and 2019, Marquise reportedly spent time with Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, who was in prison, showing disdain for his father. Kenneth was one of 50 Cent’s enemies who was possibly involved with his attempted murder on 24 May 2000; someone, likely Darryl “Hommo” Baum, shot 50 Cent nine times from a close range. Thankfully, joy quickly overwhelmed that accusation when Starbakes revealed the colorful cake that 50 Cent and Daphne ordered for Sire’s sixth birthday, based on the characters from the “Plants vs. Zombies” video game.

Christmas celebrations

On 22 December 2019, Sire’s mother posted a video from the Toys “R” Us store on her son’s official Instagram account, sire_jackson, on which he’s amassed over 100,000 followers. 50 Cent told his son in the video that he could have anything he wanted, and they eventually started a Nerf war with foam-blasting guns. The caption written by Daphne read, ‘It was the best Christmas ever, and I couldn’t believe that my father would make my wish, to have the entire Toys “R” Us store for myself, come true.’

TMZ revealed that the two went to a store in New Jersey, one of two open, and that 50 Cent paid $100,000 to have the store closed for the public and have decals of Sire’s face all over. For reference, all 885 stores were closed as the company filed for bankruptcy, making this an admirable feat. Sire was amazed and spent time aimlessly walking around.

50 Cent then posted via Twitter during 2020 Easter, showing how much Sire enjoyed baking cookies. 50 Cent shared his Christmas celebrations with Sire every year since; his son typically wore red pajamas or a Christmas sweater while opening his gifts.

Acting

Sire was back in the news in August 2022, when HipHopDX revealed that, based on the now-deleted Instagram post, Sire would star in the upcoming “Skill House” horror film. 50 Cent is the executive producer and is scheduled to appear alongside Leah Pipes, Caitlin Carmichael, John DeLuca, and Hannah Stocking. The movie is a dark satire of the influencer culture, so one of the most-followed TikTok creators, Bryce Hall, was set to play the lead when the film had a 2023 release date. However, he cut ties with the project for an unknown reason.

According to Rap Up, Sire was shown talking to the director and writer, Josh Stolberg, in another Instagram picture. Daphne wrote on his behalf that ‘he was excited for his first acting role in Dad’s new movie, thanked the director for the opportunity, and had a great time.’ 50 Cent  promoted the project by saying that Josh ‘did the last two “SAW” movies and that a camera operator fainted while filming a scary scene, and was unconscious for 30 minutes’ to show its scare factor. While Sire isn’ot on the IMDb’s list of cast members, and 50 Cent never specified his character’s name, that might change before the release. However, Hollywood Life reported that he took Sire to Disneyland to celebrate his debut acting role.

Other mentions

In late 2022, Sire was frequently in the news because 50 Cent posted photos from nearly every stop on his GreenLight Gang (GLG) World Tour. Sire was in almost every picture, standing on the steps to the private jet, in front of the plane, or hugging his father in various settings.

Unfortunately, 50 Cent had another reason for bringing him along. In September 2022, posting a photo of Sire on Instagram and captioned it with an attack on Daphne. He ridiculed Daphne’s alleged relationship with Sean Love “Puff Daddy” Combs, and told his son to ‘remember his advice from the other day because these b*tches be crazy.’

He referenced reports that Daphne was in the audience as Puff Daddy’s special guest during the 2022 iHeart Radio Music Festival. That was unusual, as 50 Cent previously claimed that he had nothing against Puff dating Daphne. She replied under the post’s caption, asking him to stop, noting that she was an outstanding mother who never bothered him.

Daphne then posted on her Instagram that ‘she parted ways with 50 Cent, but always focused on Sire’s emotional and spiritual well-being’, adding that she wanted to be happy and left alone to grow closer to God, and was tired of being judged and having to defend her character.

Turning 11

In January 2023, Sire attended the premiere of the second season of the “Black Mafia Family” series, which his father had developed; he stood next to his father, dressed in a black suit with a green tie. In April, Sire’s actions drew laughter and shock from 50 Cent’s Instagram and Facebook followers. In a now-deleted post, 50 Cent shared a screenshot that showed Sire requesting $10,000 via the Apple Pay mobile application, commentingd ‘that his son was only 10, so he hoped that he was joking.’

On 14 August, 50 Cent posted a photo of Sire via Instagram, noting that he was growing up wildly big, and attributed his rapid growth to eating Filipino cuisine. Daphne posted an image of Sire on a beach in December on his Instagram profile. She captioned it ‘grounding and earthing,’ suggesting that he enjoys spending time in nature and meditating. Moreover, Sire attended several New York Knicks games in 2023, and cheered for his father’s hometown club.

A few days before New Year’s Eve, Sire was back under the spotlight because he met rapper Travis Scott backstage during Travis’ Circus Maximus Tour, according to ScrilNow. Although they merely shook hands, social media users immediately began speculating whether Sire was interested in pursuing a music career. TMZ reported that 50 Cent previously shared a video of Sire bobbing to Travis’ “Sicko Mode” song. He’s also a fan of rapper Chris Brown, whom he met.

Stepmother

In 2023, Sire was the topic of inquiries into his relationship with his stepmother, fitness trainer, entrepreneur, and former model Jamira “Cuban Link” Haines. According to People magazine, 50 Cent has remained relatively private about his relationship but made it official in August 2019, when the sixth season of “Power” premiered. Jamira grew up in Camden, New Jersey, but her parents came from Havana, Cuba. She was signed to Wilhelmina Models, founded a women’s fitness apparel brand, Cuban Fit, and operates a real estate business, Linked Investments, LLC.

Jamira wrote in 2020 via X (formerly Twitter) that ‘her followers should give it another two years to become cyber uncles and aunties’ when people asked her about having children. Although she has yet to announce her pregnancy, 50 Cent posted an Instagram picture with Sire in September 2021. Jamira commented, ‘Best picture ever ♥,’ which suggested that she bonded with Sire, and postponed having a biological child.

Physical characteristics

Sire has black hair, styled afro or dreadlocks, and dark brown eyes. He’s 4ft 8ins (1.42m) tall, and weighs about 84lbs (38kgs).

Net worth

Sire has an etimated net worth of $1.5 million. Los Angeles Times reported that he earned $700,000 for modeling for Kidz Safe, and 50 Cent revealed that he set up a college fund afterwards; he previously admitted that he paid $1.36 million in child support for Marquise, presumably over 18 years. Thus, he might have spent about $500,000 in child support for Sire, considering that Daphne never stopped working.

Sire is slowly increasing his wealth by partnering with brands; he promoted a fall coat by Tot Living with his father in September 2021. Additionally, in June 2023, unisex brand NICE BREED posted an Instagram picture of Sire sporting its green blouse.
