Known for his work in movies such as “Ride Along”, “The Upside” and “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle”, along with hosting several high-profile award events and his own comedy shows around the world, Kevin Hart is undoubtedly one of the most prolific comedians and actors of the last two decades.

That being said, Kevin’s love for comedy is actually rivaled by his passion for automotive. Going from some modern and luxury models to muscle cars, Kevin’s expensive and attention catching auto-collection is certainly varied, impressive, and matches quite well his success in the entertainment industry.

So what about giving a sneak peek into Kevin Hart’s ever growing car collection? Stay here to know more about the cars in his garage, where they come from, the history behind them, and how expressive they are.

Ferrari 488 GTB

Starting with the luxurious ones, Kevin Hart’s black Ferrari 488 GTB is proof that he likes his cars slick and expensive. This piece was his 38th birthday gift to himself, one that he proudly showed off on his Instagram for the first time in 2018.

Also known as Spider, this sports car started production in 2015, and is the first mid-engine from Ferrari to be equipped with a turbocharged 3.8 liter eight-cylinder engine since the F40, last produced in 1992. There are other impressive features under the hood of the 488 GTB, such being horse powered with 660, plusd having low density turbine wheels.

While the Ferrari 488 GTB had a short moment of glory before being surpassed in speed by the also mid-engined 2019 F8 Tributo, the car is still an undoubted piece of art, even on the outside. Sporting a classic Ferrari two-door body and stunning design, there’s no wonder why Kevin thought this car was fitting to celebrate his birthday, even regardless of the eyebrow raising listed price of $256,550.

1958 Chevrolet Corvette

Though it’s evident that Kevin Hart loves modern cars, he has a taste for the classics as well. To prove it, there’s a 1958 Chevrolet Corvette sitting in his garage, which is gorgeous to say the least. This green mint-painted with cream-colored interior convertible was acquired by Kevin in 2021, for an astounding price of $825,000 at an auction held by Barrett-Jackson.

Some of the things which make this car quite unique is its restomod Pro Touring status, which means that despite seemingly looking as if it was right out of a dealership in the 1950s, it’s actually gone through several modifications to its mechanics, and was restored by also adding some modern updates.

While the latter might not be everyone’s cup of tea, Kevin surely loves restomods, especially when it comes to the under-the-hood features. According to Barrett-Jackson’s website, the 1958 Corvette has a 6.2 liter eight-cylinder engine taken out of a 2020 Corvette LT1, in addition to 460hp, making it a car fitting for the road, the track, or for a museum too.

1964 Corvette Convertible

Another classic restomod Chevy in Kevin’s collection is a red 1964 Corvette Convertible StinGray. Back in the day, coupe convertibles as this one were the big thing, and though over half a century has passed, the beauty and elegance that these cars represented could still be well appreciated nowadays even for those whose knowledge about automotive is not vast.

Nevertheless, while the body of Kevin’s 1964 Stingray is looking as great as when it was produced, some updates to the chassis, suspension and engine make this one a car that Kevin could use as an everyday ride, without any issue.

1967 Mustang Eleanor

Following the line of restomods from the 1960s in Kevin’s garage is the 1967 Mustang Eleanor. This car has an interesting and surprisingly tied history with the entertainment industry, which started decades ago.

The first time a car named Eleanor saw the world was in the 1974 film “Gone in 60 Seconds”, though back then the car was a 1971 Ford Mustang. Some decades later, the Eleanor came back to the big screen with a remake of the same movie, yet this time it was a Shelby Mustang GT500 which served as its body, only three of which exist nowadays.

The latter version is the one owned by Kevin, who in in an interview with Dub Magazine, admitted it was the ‘the most challenging’ restoration he has undertaken, but the result was apparently fulfilling: ‘Nothing in it is stock, and everything on it was replaced with high-performance products and custom-built parts’, he said in the interview, describing it as a ‘true beast with nothing but the best on it’. That being said, the two years Kevin waited for this car to be roadworthy paid off.

1969 Plymouth Road Runner

There are many interesting and eye-catching items about the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner sitting in Kevin Hart’s garage. Back when this car came out, it didn’t surpass the $3,000 mark, yet these days some 1960s Plymouths are valued for as low as $50,000, though the highest selling ones are definitely over hundreds of thousands, according to Hagerty.

Regardless of its price, Kevin’s 1969 Road Runner is one of a kind. Nicknamed ‘Michael Myers’ in honor to the “Halloween” movie franchise character, the car has been customized by the Wisconsin-based Salvaggio Design in order to not only fit the horror theme, but also to be a praiseworthy restomod, especially on the road.

In late 2022, the 1969 Road Runner was exhibited at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) event and also won the Muscle Machine Of The Year category at Goodguys Griot’s Garage awards.

1970 Plymouth Barracuda

It’s basically a tradition that Kevin’s every birthday is celebrated by him gifting himself a new car and the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda was fitting for this special event in 2019.

Nicknamed ‘Menace’, the 1970 Barracuda was apparently in its original condition, and went through a weeks-long restoration process, resulting in a car stunning on the outside and powerful on the inside, as it was equipped with 720hps and a 6.4 liter Hemi eight-cylinder engine by a Wisconsin based garage.

However, the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda didn’t last long in Kevin’s power. On the unfortunate night of September 2019, Kevin, Jared Black and Rebecca Broxterman had a terrible accident while driving the car in Los Angeles. According to reports, Black was the one driving the car, losing control and crashing a tree. All fortunately got out of it alive and recovered well; Kevin along with Black suffered hospital-worthy injuries.

That being said, the Barracuda’s whereabouts are unknown since the accident. As seen on pics from the crash, the car was left in a very disastrous state, but whether it was restored or if Kevin got rid of it is yet to be known.

1965 Mustang Convertible

While losing his 1970 Barracuda in such a messy way surely left a bitter taste in Kevin’s mouth, the incident didn’t stop him from either loving cars or keep adding new pieces to his collection.

The 1965 Mustang Convertible is a proof of that – as seen in a 2021 video shared by HYPEBEAST on YouTube, the 1965 black convertible was restored and modified by the Florida-based Revology, and is Kevin’s ‘first choice’ for his everyday ride, although he admits he rarely has favorites behind the wheel: ‘I love the way it drives, I love everything about it. I love the look and feel of it’, as he described.

Although Kevin has lots of cars to choose from when he wants to take a ride, it’s evident that his love for this 1965 Mustang is one for the books.

1970 Dodge Charger

Known as Hellraiser, Kevin’s 1970 Dodge Charger is a special car through and through, especially when it comes to the most technical and mechanical parts. Built by the manufacturer SpeedKore, this car was equipped with a ‘Hellephant’ Hemi eight-cylinder engine of 7.0 liters, added to other special and high performance features such as an automatic 8-speed transmission and 4-bar suspension, just to name a couple.

The goal when building this car was no other than to make it one powerful and unique speed machine. As said by SpeedKore’s president Jim Kacmarcik in an interview with HYPEBEAST, the Hellraiser ‘represents the pinnacle’ of the company’s skills in design and engineering, something which Kevin knew very well when he commissioned it.

1977 Ford Bronco 4×4

Kevin Hart might be a fan of classic muscle cars light enough to take racing, but that doesn’t stop him from acquiring some big cars as well. Though he sold his 1977 Ford Bronco 4×4 in 2021, this model needs a mention for how special it is.

Everyone who’s been following Kevin for a while knows that he loved flaunting his red four-wheel drive Bronco on Instagram and even featured in “Jay Leno’s Garage” in 2019. Some of the most impressive features of this car include a fuel injected 5.0 liter eight-cylinder engine, automatic transmission with three speeds, electronic ignition, and an aluminum radiator.

While it’s unclear why Kevin said goodbye to this wonderful restomod, a successful Barrett-Jackson auction pocketed him $139,700 for it.

Mercedes AMG G65

When it comes to modern and powerful cars, Kevin Hart likes the best of the best. This is the case of the mid-2010s Mercedes G65 in his garage, which was taken to the restoration garage, despite being modern and already impressive with its twin-turbocharged V12 engine.

Although it’s unclear what exactly Kevin improved about his Mercedes, the fact that he bought the car for $220,000 and added extra thousands for its modification, make it clear that he’s really paying whatever’s necessary when it comes to cars.

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

While the G65 brings Kevin the comfortability of a spacious SUV, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a car made for other types of occasions. Kevin bought this black-matte model in the early 2010s for $484,000 though the price isn’t the only impressive thing about this sportscar.

Equipped with a 6.2 liter eight-cylinder engine, the SLS AMG has 563 hp and 19ins wheels. Its entirely black body is matched by the slightly dark cream colored leather interiors, though besides the obvious beauty and power that the SLS AMG sports, this car is rare, as it was only released in Japan between 2011 and 2013, producing only five units with left hand drive system. As the lucky owner of one of those limited-edition Mercedes, it’s unlikely that Kevin will get rid of it any time soon.

Ferrari 488 Pista

In recent years, Kevin has put his hands on a good number of impressive sports cars. One of those is the Ferrari 488 Pista, for which he paid around $250,000 in 2021. and hasn’t been shy about showing it off.

Despite already owning the aforementioned 488 GTB, Kevin knows what he wants when it comes to cars. That’s why he didn’t hesitate to buy himself another Ferrari 488, though the Pista is as powerful as it comes, even more than the GTB. Described as ‘Ferrari’s most powerful V8 car ever’ by the automotive online expert GMarge, this particular model makes honor of this title by sporting a twin-turbocharged eight-cylinder engine of 3.9 liters. Other important features are its titanium-made rods and carbon crafted interiors, crucial to make this Ferrari light on the road.

As if that wasn’t enough, Kevin’s 488 Pista is an undeniably good-looking car, sporting a classic Ferrari design but without forgetting the innovative slick and modern details which makes a perfect dream car.

2021 Ferrari SF90 Spider

Clearly a Ferrari fan through and through, Kevin was first on the list when the 2021 SF90 Spider arrived in the US. This hybrid Ferrari is impressively powered with 780hp, an electric motor and hybrid drivetrain.

Nonetheless, what makes this car a unique and rare sight is its price. According to CarBuzz, the first SF90 Spider is valued at $558,000 at its lowest, though considering that Kevin bought the first to set foot on American road, then it’s safe to assume the price was even higher than that.

1987 Buick Grand National

Last but not least, the 1987 Buick Grand National acquired by Kevin Hart in November 2022 is definitely one of the most gorgeous pieces in his collection. This car fits Kevin’s tastes in extreme details, as it was he who commissioned the Salvaggio Design, the same company which built his ‘Myke Myers’ 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, for this one too.

Following the tradition of naming his cars, the 1987 Buick was revealed at that year’s SEMA exhibition as ‘The Dark Knight’, given ‘its sinister appearance, featuring a black exterior with a blue-and-gray interior that echoes the superhero’s suit and cape’, as read on an official statement.

That being said, Kevin’s collection it’s growing at such a rapid pace that it’s hard to estimate how much money it’s worth. Nevertheless, there’s something very fulfilling about seeing an accomplished man as Kevin Hart being so passionate about his hobby, expensive as it is!
